This cinematic is to promote League of Legend's 12 season 2022. It's supposed to be a hype video and highlight a little of the current and future lore. The season means that every player's rankings get reset from last year and the climb for ranked play officially starts again. This cinematic features 9 champions: Ornn: the ornery ram forge god making a sword. Sejuani: war chief riding the elephant Taliyah: earthbender girl Kai'Sa: human/void creature symbiote lady Pantheon: Sparta Leona: representative of the Sun Olaf: berserker with axes Rek'Sai: the enormous, burrowing void, monster Volibear: The lightning bear god silhouette in the sky (the live bears are just minions) There are almost 150 playable champions in League of Legends and the other League themed games. Arcane is the story of only some of them, but they each have their lore, backstory and importance.

Ornn is the world forger, the iron god, the ram in the mountains. He is best boy and brother to the lightning bear in the sky you saw earlier. Fucking love your reactions man, they are so genuine. I'm subbed.

The purple alien looking chick Kai’sa @6:15 sacrifices herself to the void in order to take Rek’sai (the queen of the void) back to its depths so that Shurima (where purple chick and earth bender girl are) can remain safe from Rek’sai and her army of void creatures. It’s unfortunate and heartbreaking though because Kai’sa had to fight her way to freedom from the void, so sacrificing herself by returning to the void makes her act that much more impactful.

The Cinematic is just a hype video for the new year of content. It may have some spoilers to in game events that may occur this year, but sometimes is just cool cinema and not canon to any game lore. The Rider is Sejani, and the Animal she rides is named Brissles (sp?) , her giant boar. The Viking with Two Axes is Olaf The bear Man is... well, a bear man. I forgot what the race is called. . . The Spartan is called Pantheon. He's supposed to be a god of war of sorts, or was. I'm not up to date on his lore. The Female he fought is named Leona. she's supposed to be head of the Solari, defenders of Mt. Targon (think Mt. Olympia) The two girls fighting creatures in the sdesert are called Kai'sa (the void carapace one) and Talliyah (The earth bender). The Giant creature they face is from the void, named Rek'Sai. Oh, and the dude forging throughout the cinema is the Forge God, Ornn

The Bear is Volibear, Ornn's Brother and a god of Freljord too. Freljord is all that frozen region.

@@viomont the bear is just one of his followers, the ursine. they turn into that when they worship him and he gives them part of his power. volibear is the giant one you see through the clouds.

HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH I DIDNT WANT TO SAY IT AGAIN AND GET FLAMED LOL

Three scenes in this: 1) Freljord (snow/ice) battle of the Winter's Claw tribe featuring their leader Sejuana (riding a druvask boar named Bristle) and Olaf (axed-wielding berserker wearing a horned helmet is the enforcer of Winter's Claw) VS. Volibear (electric bear demi-god who hates humans and wants to return to the 'old days'). 2) Probably Shurima Desert (like Egypt): Taliyah (earth bender) and Kai'Sa (human child thrown into the Void/alien darkness universe/that survives by bonding with a Void being. She's like Venom) VS. Rek'Sai (Void-spawn predator that burrows under the ground like the creatures in the movie Tremors). It's really sad that Kai'Sa willingly throws herself into the hole (assumed leading into the Void) she fought so hard to escape from. 3) Targon (like Mount Olympus like/Gods/Heroes etc): Pantheon (was the unwilling host of Aspect of War God who was eventually killed by Aatrox. Pantheon survived to oppose the rebirth of the Aspect Gods) VS Leona (holy warrior of the Solari aka Sun/infused with celestial god). 4) Then there's Ornn (HUGE red furry spirit of forging and craftsmanship. Even though he's a demi-god like Volibear, he goes against Volibear and other deities that bring trouble to the humans) who is just doing his thing in the mountain, crafting a sword. The sword is probably a metaphor for creation and strength as the other stories are showing heroes fighting, honing their strength and not surrendering. Overall, pretty good cinematic, still love Awaken more for song and cinematic storytelling. Thanks for the quick react and I hope my comment helped! Edit: For spelling.

You are wrong, the warmother wasn't fighting Volibear, it would be categorically suicide. She was fighting the Ursine and the bear person was their priest calling upon the favor of The Volibear.

the sword that Ornn is forging is an item from in game called Infinity Edge. Kai'sa: mommy everything happening on each battleground is canon to the lore. the bear people are called Ursine. They are devote followers of Volibear, the storm god. His shadow in the sky was his followers calling upon his power. I don't think that the biggest void creature IS Rek'sai, probably something similar to her. It doesn't quite match her design as much as the others. If she was a significate piece she would've had more screen time.

Phanteon ulted to the cosmos seeking for the dragon god aurelion Sol to beat he´s ass and Sejuani ulted the demigod Volibear´s army... The men vs the Gods. I liked it.

Hey brother, I noticed you have just gotten into League of Legends stuff and it seems you really love it. If you wanna see SOME parts of a game and see a BREAKDOWN of the game (ITS PRO PLAY so people that are the highest of the levels of play of the game. THIS ISN'T "normally" how it works. Though a lot of this stratagy and gameplay ARE very real: I suggest Watching: Teamfight Breakdown with Jatt | 2019 Worlds Semifinals (G2 vs SKT) by LoL ESports. This is a few years old. But the breakdown is just SO good that honestly its worth a watch. I'd love to see a reaction on it if possible as well :D

When the trailer dropped, I was in awe homie. The music is not a banger but dang, if you are familiar with the current lore, the scenes in the trailer are building into something really good. The animal is a bore named Bristle and the one mounted is Sejuani, one of the Warmothers of Freljord (The icy lands in the cinematic) and she is fighting alongside another champion in LoL the one wearing the Viking helmet Olaf. Their enemies are the Ursine which are the ones looking like bears with lightning. If you look closely when one of the Ursine parried the Axe thrown at him and he growled, a growling bear shadow appeared in the sky. That is Volibear, a Spirit God of Freljord along with Ornn (the Blacksmith) forging the sword in the end.

Fun Fact: Volibear (the lightning bear) was almost not added to the game. A champion developer that made another champion, Zilean, (and I believe had his handle as the champion name) was against having an armored bear in LoL so much so he veto'd the idea every time. When Riot finally added Volibear to the game, they added VO lines and mini in game interactions of Volibear's and Zilean's distaste for each other for those that know. Also the creature she's riding is a boar named Bristle. She's named Sejuani she's one of the 3* sisters of the Freljord. Ashe (who's not in this video) is the merciful, she's the mercy is weak always show strength warmonger, and Lissandra is the ice queen that is a really long book of getting into her background.

Back at it again with 'wtf is that' The 'Elephant' is a boar, a big ass hog with tusks. Same kinda things that Texas has an issue with. The things that they fight after, that roar. Those are polar bear type creatures based in what is basically artic type conditions. The 'polar bears' are part of a sentient/thinking group of animals. The outline of that *big ass* shadow is one of the playable characters in the game that is a God. Volibear would be what his name is, or 'thunder bear'. And the thing 'forging weapons' in the beginning is its brother Ornn. Much like Greek mythos Zeus and Vulcan if they were related (minus Zeus' penchant to get everything that he can pregnant) The shit 'falling out of the sky' are the games version of miniature stars, of which there is a character that uses said abilities. The dude that did the big jump is Pantheon (yeah... that's his name -_-) who is basically a mortal man who has the abilities of a god in him. The body of the guy was used by a god to enact the gods will, which was war. Think Ares, using a body because he can't leave Olympus. Purple shit is 'The Void', and the chick that was wearing the weird suit grew up in that. Personally, it's what I imagine "Alien's Vs. Predators" would look like if there wasn't any Predator's. Love the reactions :)

Every cinematic does have a back story . Like there is a reason that ornn is forging a weapon and there is a logical reason that kaisa and taliyah are together. A lot of these stories are comics and storylines that just came out

You might not see this as it is a old video, but this video right here is why the league community rejected "starwalkin" the hype that comes from this and RISE. Made starwalkin sound like it lacked something. It did not have hype of any kind. We all agree great song but isn't meant for us. You should watch the 2023 world ceremony AFTER watching 2022 worlds ceremony. Also recommend in the future 3-4 years from now when the MMORPG drops to read about the lore of the universe. Do not ever download league.

Also in this cinematic you see how they are "sacrificing" upon following the call. Kaisa (void lady with the big monster), and the spartan are clear but sej (girl with the boar) some more context. She holds a "true ice" weapon one of which it actually hurts to use as true ice damages the users when used. There is another champion in the game called Ashe which has a "true ice" bow but when she first picked it up it almost killed her as true ice is not meant to be welded by mere mortals. So Sej fighting is a sacrifice alone as she is in actual pain while fighting.
