each melody is a different frequency for a different world

You know these show creator have some songs to put in a special occasion for example: when there is a Lumity moment there is a song, when Raine and Eda are together there is a special song, when there is a sad moments song each part of the serie has a something particular but, I was talking about Dana Terrace show the owl house but, in Matt Braly occupation Amphibia I didn’t know there was a special song

I think those are called motifs. in music theory, motifs are small bits of musical DNA that appear in a piece to connect to another piece, or a group of pieces. regularly used to signify the listener that those two pieces are connected in a subtle way that doesn't interrupt the rest of the piece

@@blaccoreo3110 a leitmotif is a (usually short) piece of music-in this case the notes Anne heard from the portal and in the background of the other shots-that occurs multiple times throughout a piece of media. Usually, leitmotifs represent important characters, objects, or themes. That might not be the best explanation though, I’m no good at explaining things haha.

I forget how important the score of a show is. Mostly because it just adds so much to an atmosphere that it seems as normal as the setting.

Ik this show started almost 3 years ago but damn, it still feels like it’s ending too soon. I hope it at least has a spin off even tho Disney shows don’t usually get spin offs

This sound always sounded so mysterious and mystical everytime it played, like it just made the scenes even more better and mysterious-

as someone who play the piano, this scene made me want to smash my computer

Ok, major musician nit pick time. The pitches of Calamity box motif when Anne hums it is D D D E F. When Terri plays it on that keyboard it's the same pitches, but the way she plays it, the melody would instead be C D C E D based on the lay out. I know it ultimately means nothing, but I find it mildly irritating and I want to know who said this looked right.

I know you don't have any idea why I'm saying this, or even thought about this comment after two years, but you just help me so so very much by telling me what those notes are!

The only same Motif l found was Sasha showing the Calamity Box from Anne in her phone during her birthday. You forgot to add that but thanks for this video. Never knew there many scenes with the same motif.😁👍

Is there an OST of the Music/Calamity box? If so, I'd love to listen to it. There's a certain of unknown & mystery in tune.
