In this video we investigate The Cage! A medieval witches prison that is situated in the quiet village of St Osyth in Essex UK. It is said to b e the most haunted house in the country and shot to fame when owner Vanessa Mitchell opened up about the terror she experienced living in the former prison. The Cage was also used to quarantine victims of the Bubonic Plague which devastated Europe in the 1300's. A former owner of The Cage also sadly commited suicide in the house shortly before Ms Mitchell bought it.
Every person who enters The Cage has a story to tell, but this one is mine.
Be sure to watch to the end without skipping as you DO NOT want to miss anything!
The two other investigators with me decided after the investigation that they did not want to be shown in this video so I have done my best to hide their faces.

Very interesting! Before you went in the pit, I made a comment and said “I would sit in there, with the ghost box on and put the wood on top.” Well done! Very brave and really good video :) - mum said she could only make out couple of the EVPs but very good

Thank you! The pit was definitely a creepy place to be in, not sure whether it was just my head running away but I wish I’d stayed down there longer. Yeah the EVP’s are clearer through headphones, the ones where I’ve put a question mark at the end are ones that I’m not 100% that’s what they said, but that’s what I hear. Really appreciate your feedback. Wish you had been there you would have loved it ☺️
Hi guys, Just to let you know that I've been going to the cage for the past 9yrs and must have been about 20 times and at least 15 times on my own and always do at least 2 or 3 nights and days on my own and had some fantastic experiences there and yes when i have been there on my own i did spend some time in the pit and the last time i was there was 3 months ago and i love the place 👻👍

Oh wow 3 months ago...I didn’t think the new owners were allowing people in there. I’d absolutely love to go back there. Although we got some great activity there, I feel like I need to go back there. I’ve driven past a couple of times but nobody was there at the time so I couldn’t speak to the new owner unfortunately.

Who said that a emf meter detects ghost? Who said ghost emit emf? They detect emf not ghost you're surrounded by emf basic science.

Thanks for the comment. Nobody said an emf meter detects ghosts. EMF meters were designed to detect live electrical cables in walls. Nobody said ghosts 100% emit emf but when the emf meter lights up when there’s “no reason”…especially in mid air then the energy has to come from somewhere, explainable or no. Also when an emf meter lights up intelligently in response to what we ask, then how would you explain that? But you’re right much of ghost hunting is based on science.
