Thanks! And yes there is a small cooldown for contracts, but cargo can be repeated as many times as you like. (Although there is a chance that both contracts don't spawn in at all in the beginng, at this point I recommend restarting)

Thanks for this. I saw others doing cargo delivery guides as well and tbh I can't blame them, it's a no brainer. What I like about my method is that you can just cycle through the same route everytime. Is it perfect? No. Since my original upload I have made some minor changes to even optimize the route more, as seen in the pinned comment. I'm already happy with the support that I got so far, but we'll see what the future brings

I just tried this for the first time tonight and I got Refined Aetherium Crystal on my third successful attempt and my last decoy grenade. My first two successful attempts I didn’t get a schematic. I completed all three attempts in the same game. Thank you for making this guide its clean asf

hey, just wanted to say huge thank you for this vid and you earned a sub. Was banging my head against the wall trying to do the juggernaut abomination strat with no luck. Took me around 4 games but in those four games I earned every schematic I needed including the ray gun at the very end. Extremely solid strat and once you get it down, it's braindead easy. This run can of course be done completely barebones but a few notes if people wanna be a bit more safe: do try and get a 3 plate armor vest and backpack (I ended up just getting these as rewards while running) as they allow you to carry more perks and upgrades for your next run. Staminup, juggernog and quick revive are really good to have and bring in with you. I did the easter eggs for these if I didn't have any ready in my stash. After you cancel the escort and and on your way to the cargo bounty spawn, do try and zipline from the adjacent roof after climbing up the ladder. If can be finicky, but it helps to jump while in front of the line and looking up at the pole. This is essentially a completely safe area to take a breather where you don't have to run circles while you wait. Zombies will throw flesh at you but they never harm you significantly. though if you sit too long you might get kicked lol. Between contracts you can use your extra essence to buy armor and self revives if you dont' have any, this is particularly good as there's often a buy station near the ammo stash police station. I'm glad I found this video and got on this early because it would've been hell if more than one person on the server was trying this strat lol. I kinda hope it stays lowkey hehe

Oh I'm very glad to hear that. I will agree with you that idialy you should upgrade your stuff to make it easier, but like you said, chances are you will get perks and backpacks anyways while doing this. And using the zipline (if you can hit it) might be even a safer strategy. You could also wait on the radio tower for another minute before jumping down. Whatever works best for you, I guess. @@imabipolarbear9324 True, it's not an exploit in the current state of the game. But it's always entirely possible they could throw down a 'balancing' patch of some sort that could make the cargo missions harder to do solo, or even nerf the decoy grenades which are pretty vital, as in their current state they're pretty OP. Even if it doesn't get 'fixed' in an official capacity, the more this method blows up, the more likely other people in your lobbies are going to be running it, and that starts to put a cap on it's effectiveness. Just today, I ran into another player clearly doing the same strategy, but luckily they were down to squad up and run it together. There is a technical limit of 6 players in a squad that can concurrently run this method efficiently. Granted, it seems highly unlikely that you'd see that but who knows? I have tried many methods and there truly is no easier way to farm tier 3 contracts than this, and people are starting to notice it.

@@cozy1226 I don’t really see what they could do about the contract tbh, they’re not going to remove it completely of course. And I don’t think that different contract types have different reward pools, so I don’t think they could change the rewards either. I guess they could just take that contract out of the red zone, but I mean they test games right? They know it’s an easy one and they still put it in the red zone. If anything they could put a limit on how many you can cancel or something. But if you keep repeating it and canceling the escort there’s already a decent cooldown. Personally I do the cargo, then a bounty, then cancel escort, and do cargo again. That way I have constant contracts. I think decoys are how they need to be, there’s not really much they can change about them. They don’t last long at all currently, so it’s not like they could make the timer shorter. If anything they might limit you to two instead of three I suppose, or maybe adjust the distance they attract zombies from. But they’re decoys, so if they didn’t attract zombies they wouldn’t do anything. Overall finding strategies to do things easier was always a part of zombies, I think if anything they need to give us more incentive to do some of the more difficult contracts instead of nerfing the ones people already do. I don’t think forcing people to do other contracts is the way to go though, people are enjoying the mode because they can play how they want. That’s part of why outbreak sucked as well, there were annoying objectives and the game would just choose randomly what you had to do. People choosing to do cargo bounties shouldn’t be a problem though. I never do cargo bounties in the other zones because they take too long honestly.

Works like a charm. Even got the raygun plans on my 2nd cargo drive.

Thanks so much for this, I went in the lobby, second time refreshing the convoy contract and got the ray gun schematic!

A little tip i discovered. you dont need to run circles. just zipline to the rooftop of the building where the Cargo contract is after a zombie got to the rooftop where you run circles in the Video. The zombies wont follow you, they will throw flesh at you. you can chill there until the Contract below spawns. Just look at the other building where the Zombies are throwing Flesh at you and move around, so the thrown Flesh wont hit you.

Oh that's actually super smart. i always avoided the ziplines because they are kinda iffy and get me down. But ziplining back and forth is surely better. Also I found out that if you wait an extra minute on the tower you won't have to train on the roof that long

Also use the zipline to the roof with the blue domes ontop, when standing on the little dome I never had any zombies chase me. Then two ziplines to get to the roof you train on which takes no time!

There is also a Little Roof on one side of the Building where eh was Running circles on, you can just Go on there and lay down and no Zombie can geht you

Can you give me an update on this? I've seen 2 games where neither contracts spawned but there was a bounty contract in the same building that the deliver cargo contract usually spawns so I was questioning if I cancel that one, does it stop overlapping maybe?

Clean route easy to duplicate thanks man. btw instead of running in circles on the roof waiting for the mission to respawn, you can lie down on the second balcony of that building. Zombies can't mantel to that balcony for some reason si its a safe space to wait out the time.

UPDATE and FAQ: The strategy is still (kinda) working for season 1. However the cargo contract phone is now in a different location + canceling other contracts won't spawn in the cargo one immediately. Decoys also have been nerfed. Duration 6 seconds instead of 8 seconds + you can only have 2 anymore. FAQ - You can't see the escort or cargo contract at the beginning of your game? = Back out and restart. There is a chance that those 2 won't spawn immediately, so try again. - How do I cancel a contract? = With your tactical map open, press and hold the input button - at the top right of the map will be the prompt: "hold [input] to cancel contact" On playstation it's triangle - Is there a better route? = Yes! You can chill on the radio tower for an extra minute to spend less time in the city. Especially if you play in a team, have your teammates wait on the tower while one goes for the contracts. You just meet at the tank station when the contract begins. Furthermore you could use the zipline on the roof to travel from roof to roof while you wait for the cargo contract to spawn. This will also distract the zombies. As for the driving, simply follow the main street. No need to use the bridge like I did. the helicoper is your least threat. - The portal/fast travel isn't working? = Shot the exact same 3 symbols like i did in the video to open it. (As seen in the first 5 seconds of the video). Their positions can vary, so don't rely on stone positions, but symbols. - Why use throwing knifes? = They work great againt hellhounds and kill any unarmored zombies in tier 3. (They are more like a backup protection, should zombies catch up to you) Thanks for the support on the video, it means a lot! @@LieutenantMagoo I’m level 55. This is my 8th schematic. 2 ammo mods, 4 perks, and uncommon aether schematics prior. 1st tier 3 mission completed so I guess I got lucky. Also only on tier 5 of act 1 missions

Got raygun schematics on my second try with this after farming for 2 days the legit painful way. I know it was just lucky rng but still, awesome stuff.

Farming bounties with crossbow with thermite arrows is super fast once pack a punch 2. When the cargo delivery cargo is gone, take escorting and cancel, then do bounties until the contract is back. Once pack a punch 3, bounties are actually the fastest contracts even for them large abominations.

Update: i unlocked the ray gun schematic 3x using this method.. unfortunately no other rare ones yet so i just gave away the ray gun to random ppl

What a good way to get schematics solo. I got ray gun plans and a pack a punch 2 crystal in the first 15 minutes and exfilled immediately

The cargo mission bugged on the third go so i couldn´t pick it up, Amazing. Got the Ray Gun schematic on the 5th try.

thank you so much for this method. they just nerfed the contract to only reward 3'000 but still its great and i already got so many rewards out of it! Its funny that now 2-3 days later i see all the other youtubers mentioning this method as welll haha

This is a pretty good way to farm schematics. It took me 3 tries, because i went down the first two times. 3rd try I used my Stamin-up schematic to better outrun the T3 zombies and got the raygun schematic on my first successful run

You could also buy a jug killstreak and do some bounty contracts while waiting, since you get 5k points every contract, buying a jug for 10k every few contracts isnt bad

you can also do the big bounty (mega abomination) by luring him near a deadbolt turret and activating it, shreds the thing in seconds

This was a god send I got the legendary pack a punch skamatix

It was fun before everyone knew about it, now every lobby i get into people are fighting for it :’)

Can confirm after about 3-4 games of rinse and repeating the delivery contract (I was able to do around 5 contracts per game) I finally got the ray gun schematic! Thank you :D I stopped using the teleporter because I somehow always get teleported to another point on the map even though I shot the runes in the same order as shown, instead I just drove straight to the transmission tower in the red zone and flew to the contract from the top

The route works the contract spawns in instantly if you cancel at the next one did it 4 times in a game and didn’t get any schematics sadly but I did get some perks and ammo mods

With the last two times I’ve tried this I think they’ve patched it. As of 11/21/23 I have only received Blue or rare items

I've been doing this method alot.. sometimes the servers bug out or something but sometimes it won't even let you pick up a contract in the 3rd zone.. pick contracts up anywhere else just fine but in the 3rd zone it bugs out a lot for me to where I can't pick them up. Only been recently

I got all the schematics but grinding the tier 3 mega abominations with juggernauts. Done it nearly 50-60 times. But rather than the rewards the adrenaline feeling was good 😎
