Burt Reynolds was the coolest guy ever probably! And Dolly Parton was unbelievably beautiful! I forgot all about this show! Just think...at this time, Elvis was still around and we had really cool, talented and genuinely funny people around. I love, and miss those days! Time went by in a flash for me.

This reminds me of our yearly Christmas party we have at work. We all sit around and tell stories on each other and we have the best time just laughing and being together. The world needs laughter now more than ever!

This is an insanely talented group of people. Like the country top ten of the time. Dolly looks like a dream. Burt too, but I don't lean that way.

This is so good. Thanks for posting. Would have been fun to see an unedited version. According to Wikipedia, Porter WAS married in '73, when this was recorded ('46-'86). Possibly they were going through a separation.

Charlie Rich doesn't have time for their bullshit, lol. Jokes aside, this is a wonderful show with so much great talent., and I'm not really a big Burt Reynolds or country music fan. I only watched it for Charlie and Jim Neighbors, but enjoyed every moment! (and WOW, how gorgeous is Dinah here at 57 years old?)

Glen Campbell....or Bobby Goldsboro.....tell me, who had the better 1973 men's hairdo? Seeing this special reminds me once again about how truly God-awful the year 1973 was. The hairstyles....the clothing....the sideburns..... I mean, I love all of these people...don't get me wrong.....but those men's matching top and bottom outfits are a bit much. But, yeah.....1973....what a year!

That's some BS. How does one control CC on a program that ran before that even was a thing? The video shouldn't receive thumbs down because of a technical thing. You have no idea if it is good or not if you can't hear it OR read it.

@@waylonvids WHO THE FREAK ARE YOU TO TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD THINK, HUH??? I cannot hear. Therefore, I cannot understand a damn thing that was said. So, TWO THUMBS DOWN! I suffered 20 years of my life growing up with no CC when Europeans have English Subtitles because of many countries being closed to one another. Finally, we have a law that requires CC for over 25 years now. Thank God! They have a software that can write CC on automatic. While it's not perfect, it's better than nothing or you as a youtuber who downloaded this video could easily write CC yourself. It would bring in more viewers from around the world. Now, get LOST because you have no compassion or empathy!!!
