The Burnt Apostate Boss Fight (No Damage) in The Last Faith

Seventh boss and the first one since upgrading my weapon. The boss seems pretty resistant to physical damage (I'd hit for 400+ on mooks) but for a two phase fight it seems a lot better.
The tricky part of this fight is in the second phase when the boss does the five fireballs after charging. Dodging into the boss gives iframes against the fireballs but not the actual sword swing so I ended up dodging away and relying on the fireballs being faster than my character. If they start the charge while adjacent you can find yourself in a position of not being able to dodge easily but there's probably a better way to be able to be more aggressive in the second phase.

For anyone struggling here, I suggest you go to the palace first and pick up the double jump and fire resistance charm. Also level up dexterity and the great sword

yeah this boss is no joke, once her 2nd phase starts but it's doable even without the double jump the one move you should really avoid in her second phase is that damned thrusting attack that thing takes away half of your hp.

@@arcanehierophant4606 the palace is reached by going through the Twyvell village and reaching then unlocking the Regents gate. In the palace gsin the double jump and also look for the sunrise fire resistance charm

Where do you go to get to the palace before this?
In phase one and two if you line your head up with her flame blower when she does the fire balls and dont move you will take no damage they will cycle around you just make sure you dodge when she goes to stab you at the end.
When I beat the first phase, I thought I won... Then, she got back up for the second phase, and I was like: "Ffffffuck! NO!"

Nah she was way too easy on phase one, no way we'd get off that easy :)
Well done! I struggled for 90 minutes, and absolutely NOT no hit.
Just beat her after about 5 tries…. This is one boss you have absolutely got to grind your ass off to be ready for. Ethereal Sword needs to be at least +5, highly recommend having the moonshade charm and the grey moon charm equipped for the extra physical damage/crit buffs and defense. Also stock up on anti-burn pastilles. If she maxes out your burn meter during the fight, that’s pretty much a guaranteed game over. Other than that, just work on memorizing her move set. She telegraphs pretty heavily, so once you get that down this fight becomes pretty trivial. You **CAN** do this.

Well i beat her with ethereal sword level 2 and ONLY dash at second try, it's not that hard if you memorize the paterns.But then again Im used to play dificult games like Blasphemous 1 and 2(100% both)and Dead cells another amazing and crazy game.

I mean their attack pattern is easy to read, but the fire bullet (?) kinda hit or miss to dodge lol still bit slower than leena's attack imo Also second phase is fire 🔥 I was laughing when Eryk dies from fire storm

I have an etheral blade +3 that has damage of 279, but against this boss it does 105 lol.
you can crouch her pierce attack also works in phase 2 this boss is easy
lucky for me i picked "hunter" class and do more or less no damage, i have no bullets to shoot, barely magic to use and no fun. great game...
pain in the ass this boss, but i beat it

He's at the very end of the Liturgical Pass area, which is from going down from the Mythringal West checkpoint to the Site Cave and going to the first left area exit. If you ended up in the Marshlands you went too far down. There's a lot of clearing to reach them but they're on the far west side of the area.

Wanna get it back? Or if you find yourself in that situation again just grab your souls and force quit and you'll be back at a fast save or checkpoint. I had 59k in there and fought her for hours and said fuck it and rage quit once when I was about to die and I had my souls again lol😂 Edit kinda late but whatever lol

@@SlickDangler10I did this and started back at the checkpoint (not the temporary one outside the boss room) with the map from that point not filled out. So I had to re-do the path from the checkpoint to this boss. It doesn’t work perfectly.
