You never know what they are going through and saying this just invalidates their feelings and makes them hate themselves more for being weak. /nm Edit: thank you everyone for your replies, but can you please tone it down a bit? Some people have gotten kind of detailed and since I commented this I lost someone very close to me to suicide and I'm still readjusting and grieving

Yeah, like, man. It's not easy to be alive, life is hard and there are people that can't catch up with life. It's just really difficult for them to live. So many reasons can be the reason the end your life. Bullying, SA, Familiar problems, it doesn't matter what the reason is, nobody has the right to say that we are just picking the 'easy way out' we just can't handle it, we can't handle life.

Seriously? I'm crying now. I've spent years dealing with depression and, taking medicines, and after A LOT of trouble, i was finally starting to make some progress. I felt better. I thought it would finally end. And then i suddenly got worse. I've been feeling specially bad these days and i didn't knew that this audio was exactly what i needed. I broke down on the pills and bottles part. It's hard to look in the mirror after almost not leaving your bed for days and see someone you don't recognize. Someone you hate. But this ASMR made me feel... Safe? I guess. So... Thank you. You are a wonderful person and i wish you the world.

That "easy way out" comment almost made me laugh. It's perfectly in character for this, but damn if someone said that to me before my attempt? It would have driven me take several people with me on the way out. I do wish I had someone like this back then though, would've been nice to have someone actually on my side. This is a nice audio, I know somewhere in my brain my inner child self was comforted by this.

This kinda explains my situation except I don’t have a bully but glad u aren’t scared to talk about stuff like this but big tip is DO NOT tell a suicidal person their taking the easy way out 🥰

For people about complaining becuase he says "you're taking the easy way", i'm sure we all know that is not a thing to tell to someone in a suicidal or depressing situation, but still is not a bad comment since he is roleplaying that stupid cruel bully that tries to "be nice" by acting like a tsundere I guess

A little advice: don’t make suicidal or self harm jokes. It ain’t funny trust me, and it is definitely not funny if hearing them if ur actually suicidal. And u never know who those people are- so just don’t. (Thank u so much for the great video

I've read so much about ppl with depression and suicidal thoughts and i grew up only having suicidal friends (i have no idea why. They just kinda floated to me and stuck with me) and i can say most the things being said here makes my insides cringe and gives red flags lmao you don't usually say these kinds of things ngl. Most of these things would sound degrading of the condition or make it worse depending on the person. Usually i just treat them like any other person along with letting them know i care a lot and if they don't wanna talk about it, it's okay. I just talk about my emotions first so they won't feel completely like shit or like a burden if they tell me anything

never and i mean never tell someone who is suicidal or has suicidal thoughts they they would be “taking the easy way out” that is definitely invalidating their feelings and could make their situation worse

It's not an easy way out, at all. You think about it for months, years even. About all the people you're leaving behind, how it might affect them, would they cry and be upset or would they be better off. You wonder if anyone will step up to take care of your pets or if they'll just ditch them. You think about every way you could do it, which way will be fastest and least messy, where you're going to do it so you don't have to put the people you love finding you, but you also don't want a random stranger finding you and scarring them forever. It's the furthest from easy.

This was awful, I mean the character made me feel worse every time he spoke. “Toughen me up” is a horrendous excuse for down right making someone’s day worse. And the taking the easy way out bit made me cry, felt so invalidated. This bully down right sucks

As someone struggling from depression and anxiety this honestly hit hard And I can never talk to anyone abt anything bc it leads to to much concern, calling me over dramatic, and sending me to therapy (Wich didn’t help) I just wish I could talk to someone but I can’t I’ve been dealing with depression for mabye 7 years I believe 15 failed attempts and causing self harm It’s hard knowing that u can’t tell someone something, then bottling up ur feelings This also gave me a seizure lol

Your feelings are so so valid, and you don’t deserve to have people make you feel like they aren’t. You’re so strong, especially when you’re battling this all alone. Personally i think that the person who told me that they where proud of me when i filmed a video of me on the roof should have re-worded it differently. Well pills are not an option without pain..actually yu will feel pain in yur stomach also want to throw out anything in it , in a nutshell yu are slowly dying when yu are compeletely aware.. then if yu stay alive yur stomach is gonna be very sensitive ,so yu cant eat anything but just liquid for somedays plus being dizzy ...honestly i dont proud my self to experience it but if yu read this my friend..just in case ..its not "painless"
