Kids can’t do anything anymore... go ahead kids, try this at home. It’s a piece of wood and a string. It’s more dangerous to play baseball

Maybe try it outside and not next to the TV

You know, I've never been hit by a bullroarer. On the other hand I've been hit by several baseballs. I wish that I was still young enough to be hit by a baseball. Vaughn

Hey atleast she made a correction on the Australian claim. I can tell you how to load a cannon and how it works down to a scientific level with being an accurate shot.

Do try it at home, it’s only dangerous if you are scared of it. Seriously: when you are scared you make abrupt movements instead of a flowing motion, resulting in no sound like in the video but also a way bigger chance to hit yourself. Big but flowing swings is the way to go, ideally above your head. Slow it down slowly when your done playing with it. You can also attach the bullroarer and cord to a very long stick and swing it above your head. These things have been found all across the world, I think the only place without bullroarers is Antartica🇦🇶! Warm greetings from the Netherlands🇳🇱.

That was a bit underwhelming. Full circle arm movements would have probably generated a vibration.

It needs to swung over the head like a helicopter and it needs about 6 to 8 feet of slack. It's not an instrument it's used as a way of calling people to come like church bells or the muslim call to prayer

Koori people migrated to Australia 50k years ago and have been using bullroarers to communicate long distances for almost just as long. Just because the oldest dated bullroarer was found in Ukraine doesn't mean it was first used there. Also seeing as the Ukraine is roughly the size of Australia's smallest states like Victoria and the Majority of Australia is vast unpolluted desert and bushland the Koori had far greater need for them as a method of communication over vast distances.

If you believe in the theory that people migrated out of Africa ukraine would've had bullroarers before Australia. It's alot closer and ukraine hasn't always had a border the earth is just the earth and all cultures come from a common ancestor. It had different meaning all around the world in amongst indigenous Australians they all had slightly different beliefs here and there just like anyone around the world. Like the Hunter and the 7 sisters story the sisters are always being hunted by a hunter/hunters.

Aboriginal Australians have been around a lot longer then that. Not to be used inside.

Where did they have to migrate through before getting to Australia oh that's right eastern europe 🤦♂️. There would've been older examples in europe before the 1000's of years of aging turned them into dust.

No idea, but that was definitely not how you use it, they're very loud when you use full arm rotations, not really an indoor thing

No idea how to use it let alone try and teach others I’m an Aussie and that was embarrassing to watch
