He is still correct, the common form of VTR is the videocassette recorder (VCR), which uses tape cassettes. Earlier VTRs could also be reel-to-reel. @@PaulGBass

I love the two ladies played completely two different characters. One in white was sad and depressed because video taking over radio. And the red was acting like an observer who wasn’t impacted and going about her daily life like filing away her nails 💅 . Amazing script for that time.

I always percieved it as the one in white being the "Radio star" someone with an amazing voice but not the looks. Whereas the pretty girl didn't do any solo's but her talent was purely her looks, which is what put the radio girl out of business.
