I feel like this update is going to make it easier to get brawlers but harder to upgrade them, especially with Gadgets and Star Powers gone from boxes. It will make it easier to get specific brawlers to a higher level, which is nice, especially for the newer brawlers.

i think it does the opposite! coins and credits make it easier to upgrade but the brawlers (if you got 50 blue credits a day) would take abt 45 days to unlock a rare brawler

It’s actually much faster especially for the legendaries. This may be off but from some of the math I heard you could get a legendary In 2 months or so not sure if that included unlocking characters before and unlocking legendaries will take a lot less time

The 4th anniversary icon means you were present in this one, and the 1st means you were playing on the first anniversary. So 1 icon is the rarest.also had it mixed up at first

8:38 what he means is that you can’t collect all the gold and powerpoints from the trophy road without collecting your credits, which then will be “wasted“ for your fame. That is because, different from the brawl pass, you have to collect the rewards in chronological order, which is a feature that should‘ve been fixed for a long time. But this is my only negative critics, amazing update else🎉

One little correction about the anniversary icon is that the 1 is the rarest. They represent the specific anniversaries you’ve experienced. If you have a 1 you’ve experienced all of them.

I just watched this video and realized I experienced the glitch! I thought it was planned for us to received the credit and points from trophy road again since they were changing it around! I managed to unlock Amber (since I wasn’t too hyped for Chester) and gave the rest of my points to Meg!

I had that bug... I thought it was intended, but my classmates were shocked, that i was able to unlock and max chester out after 10 minutes of the update 😅

20k to 37k here, but was more than enough to unlock Chester

I was one of the few people who got this glitched but I thought it was weird, but didn’t question it until seeing this video, I now have a maxed out Chester.

Rey I was able to get the trophy road and the double rewards only started at 10k, rewards before that could not be collected again. I was missing 3 legendaries when this update came out, Chester, Meg, and Sandy. After collecting all the free stuff and the credit compensation from getting to tier 70 on the BP, I could get Chester and I’m currently 1/3 of the way to Meg. That’s actually crazy

I am glad I was able to get the rewards, to make up for the fact I lost the 140 megaboxes. I do hope the compensation is good because I know I would be mad if I missed this too. Chester is really damn fun honestly, and so is gray! Gray is super annoying on most modes lol.

I woke up at around 4 am, and couldn't fall asleep. I decided to just update brawl stars and check it out. I got the trophy road glitch and I just thought this was a nice gesture from the devs on top of all the free rewards. Guess not, lol. I hope things are going well for everyone l. Don’t know if you realized this but gray’s super can be placed closer to him by auto aiming with an enemy nearby

super glad i managed to get the bug, thought it would take much longer to get chester :) however, it didnt give every single trophy road reward, it was just some of them (starting from ~15-20k trophies i think?) so it was just a little more than i needed for chester

The glitch was actually different for each person. My friend who had lower trophies than me ( like 6500) got all the rewards from the beginning but I only started claiming rewards from 19k ( I am 22 k) And I only got like 200 credits

I was so unlucky, I thought my birthday luck would come through but unfortunately not. I got no Starr credits which means I won't get Chester. I'm sure this is an issue for a lot of people, and I really hope those who didn't get the rewards get compensated 😭

I'm not kidding when I say this, I actually thought everyone got those rewards again on the trophy road, but I guess I was FINALLY one of the lucky few that got to collect them all. After I collected all of the credits I got Chester as well as getting him to power lv 10 with SP and Gadget 😂😂 I it love when Supercell messes up like this and we get so much rewards for free and they don't take them back♥️

I got compensated too, haha! I thought I was actually missing some since it was like half of the trophy road. I’m so happy I live in a place where the updates drop right after school!

I stayed up PST time for the update, I like others thought the trophy road rewards were not a glitch. Hearing that the Dev Team will find a alternative solution is somewhat appealing to me. I was able to increase the amount of credits to hopefully in a matter of time unlock Chester.

Wait a minute so the people who got chester will get another solution to get credits too from the devs because of the glitch

I claimed the trophy road rewards and was like "supercell seems a little too generous this update..." I didn't even knew this was a glitch and collected it in all of my Mini's too. It was really satisfying but I was only getting rewards after 10k trophies (in main 24k currently) or 8k-9k (in mini's)... I didn't complete this season bp so I could claim all the rewards after tier 46!

Yeah I ended up having the bug happen to me and when I told my friends about how it gave trophy road progression, but they logged on after the maintenance break without any of that.

I got lucky enough to get all the rewards from the trophy road once again (all the way to 50k) and I’m so happy to actually be able to try out Chester now when he’s probably really strong😀

After this recording Frank had replied to someone on twitter asking about compensation for players who didn't use this bug. Frank had said to keep an eye on the Brawl Stars twitter for updates on it! Sucks for us in the states because it was like 3 am when the update came out so there was no chance to get the trophy road progression before they patched it.

Got lucky and was able to unlock Chester with the free trophy road rewards 😅.....thought the devs were just being generous though I wasn't expecting it....glad I got this one cause I missed the 140 boxes bug.....seems bugs are a frequent thing in this game.....lesson to everyone to look out for them immediately after updates especially the big updates 😁

I didn’t play on all the anniversaries, but I still got all 4 profile icons I guess it only checks the date your account was created. You do not have to put the points into the fame ranks, you can collect them. Just don’t push them into the fame ranks, there’s a button on the fame page to deposit them.

I like how Rey said that fame isn’t a waste of credits going into nothing but it’s exactly what it is. Cause now I have to start from 0 when a new legendary comes out or a new mythic instead of just having saved up my credits

I feel lucky for having been able to experience this bug

I just found it quite weird how it said I’d collected previous tokens from the trophy road but I started with 0.. I started collecting from around 19k up to about 32k but anything before had already been ‘claimed’ apparently lol

It wasn't just the boxes. I had the glitch and got about 900 credits where Emz was. Instantly unlocked Stu(wish I put it towards chester)

I'm so happy to experience chester so early because I got in for the bug lol. This bug was INSANE I got 2300 credits, 5k power cells and 15k coins though 1000 credits went into waste of the fame rank as I'm a free to play maxed account and didn't wanted to let them cancel the rewards before I collected them... But from the positive side, this made me get chester power level 10 with both star power and gadget and gray to power level 9. So now, after the update I'm f2p maxed out again for the second time.(except some gears)

Got the Trophy Road Rewards and thought it was intentional 😅

Fun fact: The bug doesn't give you the credits from 0 trophies, but starts from one specific amount... For me it was about 10k trophies, so I only got about 6k trophies worth of credits.

Wow thats why i like Rey. Actually i could have gotten the Chester during that time. But i received a update it was a glitched. So i decided to play again after maintanience. It actually sucks to grind from zero but at least it was fun. Same for th mega boxes didnt buy them...

I just realized how much luck I have, the update was at 10:00 and I was supposed to start classes at 09:00 but most of my teachers were absent so I actually started at 14:30. I realised it and loged onto brawl stars and collected the trophy road rewards like it wasn't a glitch and got Chester and about half the progression on Spike. My luck bro...

I got Him to level 9 with sp and gadget and I can safely say this update is 100x better because I don't have to depend on rng to get what I want regarding star powers or unlocks and I had 100k from. The previous updates What I learnt is gears aren't really all that strong or Worth it immediately and the gold gain per season makes up for it The fact that I'm free to play and have all The brawlers (except Sam oof) Really goes to show how good this game is for a long time player If you're maxed though there's nothing to do and that's why they'll add masteries next update for those players

I experienced the bug as well, and among the rewards was the 10k reward which was like 1000 credits which paired with the brawl pass refund got me chester and the next brawler easily

I was so happy to get this big I don’t know how rare it is but it was literally enough to max out Chester

No Rey.. it wasn't like that... Everyone had the rewards starting from random points at the trophy road... I got it starting from 15k where as my clubmates got from 18k and one of them got starting from 11 k... It was completely wild where as some of my clubmates didn't even get it.. so unlucky they were

9:33 except it's not optional bcs of the fact that not every season comes with a non chromatic, eventually credits from previous seasons will auto collect. There's really no reason why to not make spending credits on game optional.

I actually opened brawl 2 or 3 hours ago and I was able to collect from the trophy road even though I didn't login straight up after the update

I got the bug all the way from 16K to 30K+ the one in the inbox. And I also unlocked chester. So it was nice

For people trying to get grey.. Try using dynamike in brawlball and keep targeting people and damage them. Keep shooting the ball away from both the goals so you get more time to damage opponents

Bro I got that big and just collected all the stuff like it was normal not even realizing🤣🤣

By the way the rewards weren't all the way back to zero trophies on the trophy road. they only went back to around 10k for me, though that still got me a third of the way to unlocking chester.

Seems like i am getting my interest back in brawl stars after this update...The last time I enjoyed brawl stars was 7-8 months ago..This update is definitely awesome..!

I KNOW RIGHT?! Ive always loved Brawl Stars but, this just feels so much better! Such a great update! :D

One thing I'm not seeing a lot of people talk about is the fact that all of the power points we had saved up got turned into coins. Idk if it's just me but it is a bit upsetting...

I didn’t even realize that the trophy road thing was a bug. I was awake when the update happened and I just collected everything not knowing at all lmaooo.

That trophy road glitch happened to me aswell, you dont get all of them from the start you get it from like half

I had the same bug but only loaded the game like 6 to 7 hours after the update so guess I got quite lucky. Did not even realise it was a bug at the time 🤣

This is such a sad time for the community i hope supercell does something to compensate the people who didn't manage to get 2 free brawlers and the resources to completely max both of them while all of us are stuck with Still unlocking them this really bummed me out but lets not lose hope as they said they are discussing about what to do next 😔

I’m one of the lucky players who got to claim stuffs from the trophy road, since I’m at 32K trophies I got Chester immediately and upgraded him to power 10. Very happy that I had a doctor’s appointment today at 3 pm, it meant that I had to cancel school which lend me to abusing the bug before it happened.

that glitch happened to me 0-0 I unlocked pam and bee with this super easily lol at first I didn't even know if it was a glitch XD

I actually thought it was for everyone lmao, I literally claimed from 18,500 trophies to 39,000 and I got chester free! I was kinda surprised it was this easy but after like 5 minutes I saw a maintenance brake. So I think I got lucky? Pd: Its my birthday today!! So…thx for the glitch supercell😊

I’m glad there will be compensation but i didn’t get any of the pass or trophy road rewards my max account should have easily gotten Chester but i only got 1000 credits.

Hey Rey, just mentioning that unfortunately it is only about 1000 credits max because the glitch only worked for about 10k trophies worth of ur most recent trophies only rather than all the huge ones at the beginning!

I got this glitch, but i only did the update around 7 hours after the maintenance break ended. They clearly didn’t fix it properly, but I’m not complaining. I got Chester within 5 minutes of logging on for the first time.

I finally got all my brawlers to power level 11, not with gadgets yet or anything, but i got them to 11, and then this update happens and there are no more boxes. I finally get to the point where me hording boxes would have made a difference when it came to unlocking and maxing out new bralwers and now i get screwed on that. I had enough boxes saved up where i could have maxed out the two new brawlers, but instead, i have to grind my ass off to get the power points (only 40 each time at the end of the pass) and only 145 gold which is now the most important resource in the whole game, i have to wait until next brawl season to be able to max these brawlers out. Just when i get to the point where i wanted to be, the game does some sort of update that screws me over.

Rey, the credits you would have gotten would not have started at 0 trophies, but like 10-20k trophies. This happened to me, and I wasn’t able to get all of the rewards as some of it was uncollectable.

I’ve got to wake up at 6:00 am for school so when I logged on to brawl stars this morning for the update I got all of the trophy road rewards. Ngl had no idea that was unintended.

I had a bug yes. But like I only got some of previous rewards. If I got every single one I would have at least 3000 credits and I got like 800 or something like that. Honestly I hope I'll be able to get chester soon

I also had the bug too! I have 37k trophies and started opening from 17k. It was enough to unlock chester and to max him out
