In 1994 while living in Dar es Salaam, Temeke-Yombo street suddenly we received one big somali family that had landed in the City. The family had no income or any money to sustain itself. In short they had nothing to eat but they had a place to live. They came to our house to ask for help. My mom had a special heart (RIP), she took over the responsibility to feed them and my dad become a very good friend to the man and his family. After a short time they got a way to survive. Ten years later the family was successful through business. They even helped dad when he was in his bankrupcy time. The struggle is resl men!

Both of them died in the same hotel they were staying in Kismayo Somalia 12/July /2019. Rest in peace to Mahad and Hodan.

Faarah Aden this sort of business can prevail throughout Somalia...as the buyers will buy from any given country. It's just a state of the art storage to transfer food products from African farmers to international markets. So in reality every city should have at least one of these companies.

Mahad and Hodan both had a vision of a better Somalia. They died for somalia. May these two beautiful souls rest in peace.
