Yea sweet ass band. I listen to this song daily. Can’t wait till they blow up. My sister told me about them. She’s going to see them in concert for $11 I was thinking how are the tickets so cheap. Then I remembered they are uber underrated. Congrats to anyone else who’s discovered this gem in the rough of what we now have to put up with as music.

I was listening to this song as I looked at old pictures and I could feel my heart swell as I reflected on the highs of life and beautiful memories and my childhood and I teared up. Thank you for making such a beautiful song.

[Verse 1] Standing out on glaciered lakes You locked me out for days Pointed lens, you turned your face We could never feel comfortable in this way [Chorus] When I was everything that you wanted And I was on the path to being honest I stopped when we were halfway up in Hallstatt And it felt as we were living in our forfeits [Verse 2] Hollowed ground, my place to stay Middle of the spring but it's cold in the bed we made To opposite ends we gravitate You could never feel warm enough to stay I wanna hear you say... [Chorus] That I was everything that you wanted And I was on the path to being honest I stopped when we were halfway up in Hallstatt And it felt as we were living in our forfeits [Interlude] (Confiding on) (Passing clouds) (When I was there, when I was everything) [Chorus] When I was everything that you wanted And I was on the path to being honest I stopped when we were halfway up in Hallstatt When I was everything that you wanted And I was on the path to being honest I stopped when we were halfway up in Hallstatt And it felt as we were living in our forfeits

My friend Brandon thought I'd like this song. He was right. It has the right sweet, mellow, and melancholic vibes to it. The lyrics are especially hitting me today. I sort of feel stuck in my relationship, despite it being the best I've ever had. He wants to propose to me this year, and I just want to grieve the losses I'm experiencing in my family. It feels very fast, and I've told him that. I don't want to start another chapter yet, I just want to reread what I've already been through.
