The Bronx, NY | Explore City Island, High Bridge, & Yankee Stadium
On this final Tour of NYC we make a stop in The Bronx and search through its legendary history. We initially start exploring the west side of the Bronx and visit Yankee Stadium and The High Bridge, then jump all around the borough and go through Kingsbridge to see the world's largest armory, Pelham Bay Park, Van Cortlandt Park, Orchard Beach, and finish the tour in City Island.

Nice video of the Bronx. Thank you for showing the Bronx, in a POSITIVE light. Most times they only want to say Negative things about the Bronx. I have grown up and lived in the Bronx, all of my life. And I and MANY people, Love the Bronx!

Thank you. There are tons of negative videos because thats what generates attention. But people forget the small things that make a lot of these places great. I spent a lot of my summers in the bronx as a kid and loved it
Also in the Bronx: the world-renowned Bronx Zoo. I can highly recommend it. Here you also can see some of the original nature and landscape of the area.

I filmed a section in the Bronx zoo but the weather wasn’t the best that weekend, I just missed a storm as I got closer to the end and the wind took one of my cameras. You can see it towards the City Island section. The zoo is a great. When I went to school in New York City the Bronx and Brooklyn Zoo were our annual field trips. I appreciate it more now with kids and exploring the Bronx original land.
I tried to visit the High Bridge back in 2015 from the Bronx end. Unfortunately my family and I walked in the wrong direction and got lost. All we could do was jump on a train back to Manhatten so its still on my to do list. And Orchard Beach, wow, never knew it existed. Also on my to do list for my next time in NY.

I got lost too when looking for the entrance of the High Bridge. The bottom steps were closed and I almost gave up. But there is a neighborhood with the park entrance. I find it much easier to enter from the Washington Heights, Manhattan side which is an actual park.
Beautifully shot
Music is on point
Love the vibe of these videos.

@@JoseOnTour Yes I agree, you should’ve included the Botanical Gardens in your video about the Bronx. It’s got to be one of the top 5 things the Bronx is famous for.
Nice! Well Done!
Great video. Very well planned.

sweeet!
It would be great one about centralia, pa, the town that inspired silent hills, it would be something new for people to see and curiosity for the fans of that video game

That would be a spectacular idea and it didn’t even cross my mind. I was just giving my buddies the history of Centralia a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t the graffiti highway by it recently get patched up last year? I remember hearing that on the news.

I hear your favorite cousins are from there.
I still gave this video a like, but the 'music' up until the 8:30 mark seriously detracts from the quality of your video and the ambiance you're trying to project. The entire video should have had music as that which follows after that time-index. Classy jazz is timeless and sounds much better than that midget-voiced electronica crap and puts most people in a much better mood too.

Thank you for the feedback John. The Bronx was in the first initial stages of my channel where I was still trying to blend the styles best fitting to old and new. I’ve taken some of the feedback to best balance the music in my newer videos and stray away from high pitched electronic vocals.
Why don't you spread the truth not to walk down the street on the Bronx by yourself and at night. The @mount of shootings and slashing is pathetic. Most dangerous boro.
