@@LargeShortFilms Having been a full time carer for my mother who had dementia, I would like to stress that more on this topic is required so as to bring wider public awareness of this horrible disease that is now afflicting not only the aged, but also the younger population. It is especially important to open this topic to discussion in south Asians who are usually in denial of this affliction. This cause unnecessary suffering in families and communities. The message should perhaps be played out in a series of plays detailing - causes, diagnosis and care of dementia, in addition to lifestyle changes that minimise the risk of dementia. May all be happy.

Hire a caregiver. Your wife is not your parent's personal maid. Not talking about you, but the majority of asian culture imposes daughter in law to take care of the husband's parents.

Beautiful film in every sense! Ah! This hits home. My mother is 67.. she got early onset Alzheimer’s at 57. These 10 yrs have been totally devastating for the whole family as she was the main pillar. It’s been 4 yrs since she stopped recognizing us.. it’s gut wrenching and extremely painful for us when she looks at us with a blank expression… knowing that she is the same person whose eyes would sparkle and have a big smile on her face looking at her family! How can god be soo cruel !!

@@vipulgupta6949 It was all about acceptance. When two people are together, they shall be open about both good and bad of each other. Hiding something from the other just to make sure the relationship goes fine will not really help. Similarly, expressing likes and dislikes is fine but that shall not impact the kind of person someone is. Deepti didn't wear the nose ring because Dhruv didn't like it on her and he felt she looked like an idiot. When she wears it at the end of the story, that signifies her realization of this.

He is obviously talented but try to watch others ' short films also who are trying to establish themselves and not dependent on giving oil to anyone .

Great story - never make assumptions. It appears Dipti (who is actually us) are more lacking in perception and understanding than the Alzheimer patient. In our smugness of thinking 'we know better than the poor dementiac' we made assumptions about Giri and fell flat on our faces. The Alzheimer patient was wiser than us! 😊

Life's lesson summarized in 20 mins. What a thought "No matter how you are or what you are, you are enough". What an actor Naseer Saab ... I seldom think why age & time takes away all what which we always wanted to cherish forever .... 😐

The happiness I got in the end when I found out that his wife is alive,, is so precious that I can't explain,,a short story gave me immense pleasure,, wow

For one minute of stage performance he spent many months abroad ..Such a Passion for his craft!!

Damn right never change yourself for the ones who love you because they will love you the way you exactly are... And always be self satisfied and complete... Only then people will look at you the same way... What beautiful masterpiece this movie is

If you are reckless then only lunatics will love you the way you are. A wise person's love is not there for the wishful thinking of an individual. One is ok with inevitable flaws but those that can be improved or removed must not be kept with the expectation that others are obliged to adopt to your perversions. "Practical life has boundaries which are nearly impossible to describe in words. It is a phenomenon like you can text the name of a scent to someone but you can't text the sent itself through words. Description itself has limits." (Javaid Ghamidi) That is why sweeping comments about life are hardly accepted by a properly reasoning mind.

Am I the only one who feels the care giver is not capable of doing her job? The patient should have been the centre of her attention - more than once he left the house without her knowing...She was also careless in leaving her notebook with her observations in the open, causing unnecessary trauma to an already troubled mind.

One fine example of how great writing, brilliant direction and excellent performances can turn the simplest of concepts into masterpieces. Kudos to the team!

There is no better actor or rather artist than Naseer Sir, who could have performed this role with perfection. Actors like Naseerudin Shah takes cinema to another level.

My father was dementia patient he behaved same like this. I well know how to handle it's so difficult but love to spending to him, he was died since 2014 in age 69 💖

This made me tear up, what a heartwarming film❤ Also as an aspiring psychologist, it made me understand what I'd read somewhere. While helping a client trying to understand themselves and cope with their problems, you sometimes also get to know and understand yourself better. And I think that's really beautiful. After "The Miniaturist Of Junagadh" Naseer Sahab and Rasika are back with bang, love their bonding and good message "No matter how you are or what you are, you are enough"

this is not easy to handle a person who is suffering from forgiveness !! even i am also gone through this where my grandmother was suffering from this 😢 she was yelling , forgive things and many more this was happened about 3 years after that i was also done 😔 but i remember the day when she takecare of me !!

What an acting, what an end !! Simply brilliant. Far better than cheap thrills from bollywood. Keep up the good work 👍💐

The central thread of the story is listening and how deceving can be our understanding of other feeling. As usual Nasiruddin Sha and Rasika acting is of different level, just fits into the character so well. Another good short film.

My mom too suffered with dementia really it is heart churning to see our loved going through this. An incredible performance by Naseeruddin sir . My eyes are welled up.

Naseer-saheb is always the BEST actor... I genuinely desired to cast him in my project back in 2004 but it didn't work... Amazing movie, impeccable performances by all actors especially Naseer-ji... I hope and wish I get to work with him one day... Bravo!!!

I dont know if writing some random thing on youtube comment would matter, but something i have kept writing on my personal archive that life is beautiful and express what you want to express. Never to miss an expression. We are forgetting to do that. Forgetting everything that keeps us together and in peace. Togetherness is a feeling of consistency. The only consistency is to feel that you actually are ENOUGH. It provides a sense of abundance. Here, the characters are so well arranged into every feelings and emotions universally felt is wonderful. Pleasure to my eyes and heartfelt waves are reciprocating. So grateful i Have watched this now. !!! Loved it. Gonna share it with my new lover i received as a cosmic exchange . I hope he likes it too in his own ways which I wanna know.
