    I certainly wish her the best, but if that's true then something will be off somewhere...Like where's Fanny, where's Beanie? The show is called Funny Girl.

    Interesting how Lynch is, I guess, "re-interpreting" her character for modern audiences - or maybe just for the PR. Mrs Brice is not "ferociously supportive" of Fanny; she's one of those singing "If a girl isn't pretty...", and clearly suspects that Fanny doesn't have what it takes to be a star. Or have they changed that too?!

    The book stinks anyway. The only good that ever came out of "Funny Girl" was Barbra Streisand. Furthermore, it wasn't written as an ensemble piece, just in case the title doesn't give it away to these ignoramuses.
