The thing is it is the cause of most of the issues at the next election, i.e. Housing unaffordable well 15 million extra people is going to do that, low wages 15 million people on low incomes is going to do that. Government spending again low wages means to many people are not net tax payers and so on. Sewage being pumped into rivers and sea again too many people no water treatment plants built etc. Dare we even mention crime? 1.2 million approved in one year!!!!!!!!

With legal immigrants it’s a huge cash cow, visa fees, English language tests, Life in UK test, NHS fees while going through the 5 year settlement process. Getting on for £8-9K per individual so a huge amount of money. If you multiply that by the number arriving it’s clear why they don’t want to stop it. Am sure most MP’s use private healthcare so not being able to get a doctor or dentist appointment isn’t a problem for them. The only thing that will put a stop to this is civil disobedience on a massive scale as voting for a different political party makes zero difference.

We are fed up of getting replaced. Close the borders.

Thousands and thousands of fighting age men, arriving on our shores daily, with the government and border force not having any idea if they are terrorists, murderers, rapists or whatever. Meanwhile British people are living on the streets, with no help whatsoever other than charity, if they’re lucky…..Then our children will have to work until they drop because the government can’t afford to give them their pensions. I live in the borough that Paul Scully is MP and its getting harder and harder to hear fellow English voices in the street here. Also, this much publicised Rwanda deal is all smoke and mirrors without any substance. The best way to deal with ilegal immigrants is to stop them landing here in the first place, not picking them up in the channel and delivering them to their tax payer funded Hotel. The only problem we have is a lack of will by the Government to act decisively.

All the while my mum, who worked low paid cleaning/caring work her whole life, having older cars, no holiday since 1979, scrimped and saved for her future, the future which now contains Dementia, only now for the government to put out their grubby hands to the tune of £4500/month to pay for her own care.

All you every hear from Government representatives, and indeed politicians in general, is “we’ve got to do this, we need to do that, but nothing seems to happen so my message to them is just get on and do it…something….anything! I’m sick of empty promises and watching things fall apart day after day and, worse, feeling the increasingly negative impact it’s having on ordinary people who always have to suffer the consequences of these incompetent drongo’s.

All these MPs say the same things , stop the boats blah blah blah and nothing at all happens they just keep coming If they come here ILLEGALLY they should not be allowed to claim asylum, they should just be deported instantly

That quote Jez read out at the end sums up my feelings completely. A couple of years ago I used to fight so hard and tried to tell everyone I knew about the dangers of the constant stream of illegal migration. It fell on deaf ears mostly, but still tried to get people to understand and vote accordingly. However, like the man who Jez quoted, I have simply just given up and turned my back on it all. I don't care anymore, it's too far gone. I have come to terms with the fact that we will have many deadly attacks here, just like what happened in France. And when it happens I will simply shrug my shoulders and say, 'well you all wanted it'.

I was hoping to visit the UK in the fall. Normally I save for years to take a trip like that. Who do I talk to about my free accommodation and food? I’m Canadian but I’ll just fly to France and take a dingy across. I’ll be expecting a 5 star hotel in the center of London, free transportation, free food, and some spending money. In Yorkshire where i live is ridiculous, we have 8 shops in a row 12 that are owned by migrants, and there all a cover front for illegal activities, even though a few got shut down, they opened up in a mile down road and put in someone else's name ,to avoid from police finding them.

How has it been allowed to get this far

We need to vote for Reform to stand any chance.

Put the ones here in a guarded compound, make them live in tents in that compound whilst their claim is processed and, should they complain or misbehave, immediate deportation no appeal allowed. Time for some tough love to protect our own people and culture

The government work harder against unemployed especially the unfortunate ones that have health problems & stopping their monies & in a lot of cases taking them off sick benefits & putting them on looking for work benefits & in a lot of cases these can’t work so they lose all benefits, I’ve been there myself,worst part is it’s run by a French company!!!

If you don't like it here, there is always Rwanda. Now, that isn't a serious suggestion - but it's no more than what you are suggesting about a similarly vulnerable category of people... who often have vastly better and more useful skills than you possess. The rest of us still accept that you are a human being and that we have a duty as a commonwealth to provide for you and care for you. Do you think you could use a tiny ounce of self-reflection and acknowledge that you possibly need to do the same for others. Because I'll be honest - I like a lot of refugees and other people who have moved to the UK more than people like you who whine and lash out at anyone who looks different to them! If we really are 'full up', then I know who I'd rather kick out. Fortunate for you that, despite the utter nonsense spouted by political demagogues and hysterical newspapers and TV chat-shows, we are not!

How much could this money help the NHS

He talks about how we need the online harms bill to stop the advertising of this illegal trade, why don't you just say "if you come illegally you will be rejected 100% of the time and be banned from ever applying to enter this country". That would stop the boats outright, but no that doesn't give the government even more power over our daily lives on and offline. Also why not talk about the real numbers issue, which is legal immigration? Oh right there's no one else to blame there.

One of the things being overlooked? The NHS is worth a fortune to some immigrants. The Doctors refuse to check for entitlement to treatment. Mostly immigrants themselves, of course. these days.

Rwanda will take 100 pa they say, 300 according to. Lamy, 1000 according to govmt. How on earth does this affect 170,000 in this country now. As a deterent it will not work the gangs will easily cope with this. Pay the gangs to become our border control and it would stop all boats guaranteed. and convert criminals to legal jobs. No it won't work as the gangs would have to pay tax on their earnings and more than likely be on minimum wage to boot, they only do it cos they make huge sums of money
