When you contrive to start a war, don't be surprised when the demons from that war come to nest in your own home.

Yup. The German people believed all the Nazi racial superiority bullshit. Then they found out that they weren't as superior as they thought.

The illustration is of Heinkel 111 bombers. The night fighter, among others, was the Heinkel 219. I believe, if memory serves, that the British named their foil tactics, "window."

Dad knew a bloke who did this during the war. Flew in a bomber speaking German to confuse the enemy. His name was Cliff Papayanni. The Sydney Morning Herald has a story about him online. "Greeks in foreign cockpits" has the whole story, too. Real name John Clifford Papayanni. Aussie Greek really.

That "bloke" must have been in RAF 101 Squadron, Bomber Command. As was my dad. They didn't in fact mislead the Nightfighter pilots. They in fact just jammed their controllers. 101 squadron flew on more raids than any other unit within bomber command

If you have youtube premium, there are no ads. It's only $9.99/mo. I used to endure the ads. Premium is worth it.

Please have a human narrator. I used to think it was just unfamiliarity with English but the pronunciation mistakes that everyone of them like sticks a pencil in my knee are just too much. Just have somebody read the damn thing.
