The Bridges of Madison County Filming Locations Drive - Metal Bridge to Francesca's House

I just returned from a short trip to the Winterset, IA area to do a tour of the filming locations. I checked out the bridges and other things related to the movie with Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep - The Bridges of Madison County. We went in there. The truck from the film was actually still parked there, all overgrown with grass. There were signs saying " you are beingbfilmed". We went in anyway.

You mean you went past the gate and walked back to the house? I would have loved to but I’d be the guy they arrested. 😅

Sorry. Other than the drive up to it on the road, that’s all I have. It used to be open for tours until several years ago when someone tried to burn it down. Now it’s damaged and of course, no more tours. :(
