Of all the narrow gauge railways upon which I have traveled, this is my favourite. Well maintained, with beautiful scenery, friendly staff and not forgetting attractive locos as in this excellent video.

This locomotive was sold by Brazil to UK in 1990, from the Mogyana Railway, an important railway company in Brazil. It was built as a Mogul type and 600mm gauge, then converted into 760mm, and finally into 600mm again in Brecon Railway.

Rode this lovely little railway in October 2019. Sadly No.1 was not running when I was there but an excellent ride no the less.

Very thoughtfully put together, informative captions with adequate time to read them. Excellent atmospheric shots of a beautiful loco in stunning surroundings.

Their equipment looks like it'd fit right in on the Maine 2 foot railroads. I hope to go there once #3 and #4 are buily
