Not gonna lie, he really had one of the best raps of round 1. His flow and stage presence are really great and that made his performance memorable 🔥🔥

I agree with the purpose and the defence of your comment, but I do wanna say that it partly does not make sense. The rap as we know in k-pop IS confined to hip-hop. All the k-pop songs that has rap is essentially including a form of hip-hop into the song. Rap (aka MCing) is a key element of hip-hop and one of the foundations of hip-hop itself. So while I agree that idol rappers shouldn’t be confined to those prejudice thoughts, it’s also good to remember that idol rapping IS inspired and motivated by the rap of hip-hop. Rap came before hip-hop in African music but k-pop is not African music, but it is heavily inspired by hip-hop. (although hip-hop music was introduced in the Bronx when an African man introduced the music at a party) Hip-hop in Korea was introduced through breakdancing back in the 80s, in which introduced other forms of hip-hop including Rap. This introduction became prevalent in clubs and was then widely spread throughout the country and was then used as inspiration for the new genre of music that Korean pop artists started to use. (eg: Seo Taiji and Boys) So, once again, the Rap in K-Pop IS confined to hip-hop, as the rap was introduced as a foundation of hip-hop. Sorry for the long explanation, but I just wanted to clarify because hip-hop itself is a culture, not just a genre. You can’t do rap without doing hip-hop. It’s like saying you can bake a cake without flour (can’t think of a better analogy but i hope you get what I mean LOL)

@@gellye5166 I agree with a lot of what you said but just as much as hip-hop isn't just rap, rap isn't just hip-hop There are other types of rap music other than hip-hop Kpop is heavily influenced by hip-hop and the rapping that goes along with it but that doesn't mean that's the only type of rap Hip-hop is a subculture that can also be considered a genre but rap on the other hand is a style of vocalization and a music genre Like you don't see rap just in hip-hop songs for a reason and that's because rapping in not confined to hip-hop

it was cuz his partner got into a scandal and he didnt hv any partner dats y like he didnt get eliminated he had no choice but to leave(IM NOT SURE THO IG THIS IS WHT HAPPENED)
