Antony Starr seriously deserves an Emmy for his portrayal as Homelander. Every scene he’s in you’re constantly in fear he’ll snap…then the next second he’s literally clamoring for milk like a baby. Just an amazing portrayal of a truly conflicted/twisted character.

The amount of times I have seen this exact same unoriginal comment on movie trailers contradicts the point of them entirely. I have seen them so many times this year that it's pretty obvious that "most" movie trailers are not actually spoiling their entire plots in their respective trailers. It's really a joke at this point people actually still run with this unironically. Homelander starting to make some strategic moves rather than just gettong progressively more insane is exactly what we need. The idea of him using Vought to actively sew division in the public so that he can be the one to Syndrome in and be the hero is really cool and shows what really happens when you give a weapon as powerful as a multiconglomerate corporation to an absolute lunatic.

Anthony Starr showed that he is a perfect actor in this movie.

Homelander is one of the greatest villains in cinema history. You want to hate him, but Antony Starr nails the role so well he becomes your favorite character. It’s amazing and confounding.

I desperately want Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character to share a scene with Jensen Ackles’s Soldier Boy. I think that would just be fantastic and the cherry on top for me with this show. Even if not this season, hopefully at least next season. In fact having Starr, Karl, JDM and Ackles in the same scene would be DOPE
