honestly i always viewed kimi and frenchi as more a family bond or plutonic bond.

Im still somewhat baffled that some ppl were genuinely shocked that homelander was "the bad guy" in season 3

I feel like the same thing is happening with The Acolyte. They finally have writers willing to say the quiet parts out loud, and "the writing is garbage."

First of all I enjoy the voices that you did while reading the reviews. Second 2024 really exposing that some folks really didn’t understand what they been watching for years.

I'm not surprised. The conservative just realized "the boys " is a show that makes fun of them.😂 It literally took them 5 years to realize it, lmao.

There is a literal jesus convention in season one where annie has a whole speech about people taking the bible to heart and using it as a way to dictate the lives of others. If that isn’t someone trying to “push a message” then idk what is.

It took them years to realize that *THEY* were the joke. *THEY* are the cautionary tale. Instead of having to wait decades for them to figure out like with Star Trek, Star Wars, or X-Men, we watched it happen in real time. Oh, and “the Critical Thinker” is a conservative youtuber who does reviews and it’s as bad as it sounds.

The just reconfirms how stupid the public is at large. Season 4 seems like more of the (awesome) same to me, so idk why they’re just waking up to their ridicule.

X-Men was not about the Civil Rights movement and the gay movement. Stan Lee, the creator of X-Men said that it was not originally designed or intended to be about any form of political statement. Now, Stan Lee said that since people did project the Civil Rights movement onto the X-Men, he didn't have a problem with it. It was a happy accident. But to flat out state confidently that X-Men was about those two movements that you stated, is completely, objectively wrong. It was never the intention of the creator. Fans projected that onto the characters, not the creator. If you're gonna reference how X-Men is political, get it right, and don't lie about it.

Okay, let’s say that’s true. That’s one thing out of all the others I mentioned. Even so it definitely became that when Chris Claremont took over who is the person that gave X-Men life. When Stan Lee, legend that he is, wrote X-Men it got cancelled cuz nobody bought it.

Good for pushing back. I stopped watching the show after season 1 because I prefer my heroes to be heroes but I do know the appeal this sort of show has for some. But these folks finding something else to shed salty tears over being "woke" never ceases to amuse me. 🤣🤣

The problem is that there isn't enough non-woke content created now. Plus, usually wokeists don't create new franchises, but take some existing and popular one and parasiteses on those. So, of course all that create lots of rage

@@thedreamscripter4002 First and foremost, "non-woke" content? I'm good with content creators bringing in other voices instead of the same white hetero cis-gender males who only want their specific worldview represented.

Nah that is lazy writning whatever this guy screams at me wont prove his point of this being feed to us so we can accept it as normal. We wont and we never will this is sickness. Feeding us logical propaganda like Viatnam/StarWars as you said or girls get it done its fine its been seen before its normal but showing me gay people story out of nowhere and that gay story to develope in 3 episodes its just idioticle. 3 seasons of developing the story betiwin him and kimiko and now its all gone for one black gay guy, great writing. F... this and f frenc story from now on I will skip his story cose I don't give 2 f...s about it. ngl day by day I am going team Homelander.

Only that Frenchie being bi has always been alluded to since season 1. Notably with having relationship with his former (heavily impied) male and *stated)female crews members. Granted the season had a time skip and adding a new lover seemed rushed. We will see if this plot line will tie in with the main story or not.
