The dead bodies obviously committed suicide by dragging their corpses onto the train tracks. Case closed boys. That's why I have been detective of the year 15 years running and we haven't had a single murder since I began the job. We do have the highest rates of suicide in the nation, but that's not a "me" problem. Reminds me of those suicides last year where the guys shot themselves in the head 3 times each. As a train conductor myself it is one of the most gut wrenching things to hit someone, mostly because in this situation you wouldn't know they were already dead, all you know is that you hit two people and now you have to go inspect the aftermath (no its not required but it is something I've been told is one of my duties)
@Velkhana22

The guys I've known who've hit someone have always gone out to check. Part morbid curiosity, sure, but a larger part was them feeling obligated to see what "they did" even though it wasn't their fault. Sort of a "I can never let myself become numb to this" thing.

@serenaegger7414 in my experience I've only hit one person so far, and I distinctly remember, freaking the hell out and, pretty much refusing to go look at the aftermath because it would only make things worse for me, and, yes I have had engineers and other conductors tell me they always look out of morbid curiosity, which, to each their own but, i really don't think I could come back to work after seeing someone mangled by one of our trains

You can see how much his mother was struggling when after missing the back of her head at point blank and instead hitting her spine, she crawled 20 feet to a phone and begged for a suicide hotline number to the operator with the phrase "Help help, there's a cia agent in my house trying to kill me!" It's so sad she couldn't wait any longer and took her life before the operator could transfer her to a hotline to get the help she needed 😔 Mental health checks are so important and should be used to disarm americans not charged of crimes based off of anonymous tips, it's so important, be the change you want to see in the world.

The messed up thing is I happen to know and have only heard it mentioned *once* about this particular case but there was a second case just like this one that took place a few years later. And I mean it was nearly identical! If memory serves, it also involved two teenage boys who were put on train tracks, however, the difference between this case and that one is that the boys bodies weren’t struck by the train! I can’t for the life of me remember how it went down I just know that it was reported that someone who remembered the previous case on Unsolved Mysteries, realized that this could be another case and dragged the boys’s bodies off the tracks. Alarmingly, that case too is unsolved AND believe it or not, was also featured in an episode of Unsolved Mysteries. And I know I’ve seen comments of people talking about how since the case all the drug ring stuff came out but I kid you not… I *never* knew anything else after the Unsolved Mysteries case and I even looked into it myself since the case haunted me since I first saw that episode. As a teen, I constantly brought it up in hopes of someone else knowing something and I heard nothing.
A similar thing happened in Jennings Louisiana where 8 women were murdered. Witnesses being shot by the sheriffs department, Witnesses disappearing, Autopsy results randomly "changing" after people tried looking into things, a powerful politician had connections to a seedy clubhouse in the town with connections to the murders, as well as a ton of other weird stuff. Its not always that they don't care. Even when police care they only solve 20% of murders.and people get murdered everyday. They would rather spend time solving cases that have a better chance of actually being solved so atleast some murders get solved. If a murder isn't solved in 48 hours there's almost 0 chance it will be solved. You can't just ignore other murders to solve one. Say there is 3 murders in 3 days. One is extremely bizarre and 2 seem pretty straightforward well they will make sure they solve the 2 easy murders and forget the bizarre one. Otherwise they may not solve any of them if they focus on the hard case.

He did this under the supervision of a guy named Gerald, then became the number 2 guy to a guy named Ronald, passing the Contra promotion project off to a dude named Oliver, then he at the time of the murders of the boys was about to be the Big boss. So in all likelihood that Bill Guy was in on the secret Contra marketing scheme that George dude started. Especially when you consider how many other aspects of it were linked back to the state of Arkansas. Such as money for the diamond pick axes flowing through a number of small Arkansas credit unions then converging at one in Nebraska near Omaha. I was kinda almost hit by a train twice as a teenager. I was indeed quite high both times, but idk if it was "20 marijuana cigarettes" worth. One time was when I was walking on train tracks, which were rarely used, and I had headphones in. I eventually was able to hear the train when it got close enough and felt vibrations. The bright-ass headlight was a clue as well. The second time was when I was with friends smoking weed on some other train tracks, which were also only used seasonally. We smoked there after school and on weekends because it was close to school and fairly hidden (weed was illegal back then, and we were underage obvi). We sat on the tracks for hours and one of my friends would even lie down on them. He never fell asleep though. So we got pretty comfortable there and never expected 40+ people would go through our spot on those little powered rail cart things. They were pretty quiet compared to a real train, so they surprised us when they began rounding the bend not far from us. We were caught so off guard that we didn't have time to grab the weed, and it got run over and blown away.

No matter how awful this rabbit hole and conspiracy goes we still must remember that this all began because two innocent teenagers were brutally murdered. I’m not religious but I hope those boys are at peace. Wherever they may be.

agree I feel so bad for both the boys and the witnesses who died they were innocent and wanted to just live or do good to help the families but the corrupt officers responsible didn't want to get caught and their lives were thus deemed disposable. I have great respect for those who still reported after the first set of witness 'murders'.

Great work. I followed this story years ago. Good to see it's remembered.

If I saw this stuff in a movie I wouldn't even be able to suspend my disbelief at how comically corrupt these "officials" are. It's scary how easily just having a couple key people in your pocket can allow you to do whatever you want. It's legitimately frightening... To think that our tax dollars pay some of these asshole's salaries pisses me off.

I don’t understand why you have to “suspend your disbelief” to be honest. There are so many things the government ADMITTED to doing… all of the human experiments and such they came out and apologized for, but something like this happens and people are like 🤯

It was incredibly heartbreaking when I learned that Wendigoon inflicted 37 stab wounds to himself and then hung himself upside-down by the legs which is how they found him. It's weird that the guy running the autopsy said that the cause of death was goon tripping down the stairs, though.

Your reporting is Excellent. Thank you for your efforts.
I have followed this since the boys were found deseased. Your footwork was second to none and I love your channel. You Rock Brother!
The CIA was involved in cocaine smuggling and distribution during this time period to fund their own operations. That is factually known. They were using a lot of airdrops in wooded areas. The local or even state law enforcement refusing to touch this can only explain so much. However, if the CIA was cutting local officials in to secure, distribute, and keep the situation under wraps, suddenly it makes a lot more sense why nobody would look into this despite the ridiculous amount of very obviously bad things going on. You can't just out the black budget revenue machine. Additionally, I don't believe this was a case of 2 groups bumping into each other. The boys must have seen the drop or a stash location. The early confession by an addict in prison is conveniently not credible to make the actual situation not credible, and a few layers of local fall guys and witnesses were burned in the process of keeping the CIA's name off people's lips. Mrs. Ives really did something amazing getting this as much exposure as it did, and it may have directly led to the decline in drug trafficking as a way to fund government.

That said, they did not stab themself nor the other and they did not smack the other in the head.
Actually a fucking shame how over 4 million people have viewed this video (and millions have viewed others on this case) and yet the petition linked still only has 10,000 signatures after a year of being up......everyone loves watching this and acting disgusted by it but then over 99% of them won't help to make a difference.
When I went to Saudi on a contract the first piece of advice someone gave me was "Don't go to an Egyptian doctor.". Being a typical American I was a little shocked. After about three months I had heard so many horror stories about Egyptian doctors that I started giving that advice to newbies.

You should do a deep dive on that guy in California who uncovered the cops doing a license plate scanning scam and then predicted his own death. They said it was suicide but his security footage was messed with and he was stabbed repeatedly. He had security footage of the cops and other people harassing him at his house too.
