37:25 Last week sealed The Deep's *non*-redemption for me with his "When I crush someone's nose into the back of their skull ... they're not laughing anymore" line. That really surprised me, since during S2 and kind of S3 I could easily see the show redeeming him. I really like what they've done with A-Train, though.

There is a theory that the assassin is a male in their origin form, when not duplicating someone. The tampon being in the toilet might be a subtle clue of that. Because a woman would know you are not supposed to flush tampons. Possibly the assassin duplicates a LOT from whoever they copy, including anything going on physiologically..... The assassin seemed to have a lot of memories from Annie at the end. So duplicating may also include physical stuff.

the boys are having a ROUGH season, i hope they all get at least some joy in season 5. hughie losing his father and being assaulted twice; mm suffering from stress with panic attacks and sending his family away; butcher having to deal with kessler and ryan switching sides; kimiko and her mutism and past; and annie with her identity and her personal medical records being aired on live tv. it is so sad lol

Kripke's nod to Supernatural with this kind of shape shifter. I think it needed to touch Annie because the plan is to have Starlighter be the presidential assassin, live for the world see. There were several references to the JFK assassination. Really enjoyed the scene between MM and A-Train. They are great on screen together. If Sage left that notebook behind there must be some sort of mis-direct in there she knows will be used to get her what she wants. She has to be 50 steps ahead and prepared for infinite numbers of contingencies and her being fired with a loose cannon like Homelander had to be on the top of that list. This is going to be one hell of a season finale! **Take care of yourself, Jess. Considering that everyone except The Boys and Ashley believe Maeve is dead, you can reasonably conclude it's the FIRST thing she did after fighting Soldier Boy.
