Mufti menk said " sometimes guidance is not written for those ppl " which is wrong .. offcoz he is a human. The concept is Allah guides everyone..shows truth to everyone. Even he puts that constant emptiness ,depression , common sense..which leads uh to the right path ..but due to arrogance ..worldly pleasure etc they don't accept Islam. And Allah guides only who wants to be guided . A person who prays ya allah woke me up for fajr but stays at the club till 1 am , doesn't want the guidance. Isn't acting upon Allah's path ,or trying to get near, him ,mend his ways. which will not lead him to soften his heart and let the guidance/truth enter. ,,🤷🏻‍♀️

Allah looks at one's heart even if he's at the club or if he is always in a mosque. Also what you said and Mufti said are the same. He said in a single word. You used two words.

I mistaken your statement, I thought you were saying Allah guides only who he wants to guide. Actually you said Allah guides only the one wants be guided. Even though it syncs with what Mufti said

Allah SWT chooses whom to guide and grants guidance to, without Allah SWTs guidance, we are lost, we are dependent on Allah SWT always, so in the case of Abu Talib even though he was sure about the revelation he didn’t believe even after it was true, Allah SWT knows best why he did not, he knows us and what’s within, which is what Mufti Menk meant to say.
