It's not that simple. Like a private detective the journalist only focuses on one investigation at a time, the cops on the other hand have to deal with dozens of investigations at one time and they simply don't have the manpower to do that. I'm not making excuses for the cops, I'm just explaining the sad reality of the situation.

Bitcoin exchanging above $23,000 as the year 2020 comes to an end, and bitcoin is still showing positive signs. The bulls are still very strong and active and with the recent halving, the price of bitcoin has set a new highs this year 2020 as predicted by professional binary analyst, such as Mr Richard Bruce of Binary Trade Options. What this indicates is that now is the perfect time to accumulate and increase your portfolio either through dollar-cost averaging or trading. DCA is good but less effective compared to trading I am currently trading under the guidance of Mr Richard Bruce and investing in the platform he introduced to me. I have made 15 BTC from my initial 1.5 BTC in less than 4 months. Investors should have trade experts guiding them in their trade so as to make more profit and Mr Richard is someone I highly recommend, so if you are a newbie or lack the needed knowledge in trading in binary, you can reached him directly on Instagram @richard_brucefx or whatsapp +1 971 512 2836 for inquires into a profitable trading system...

I saw the film when it was released and I've seen it 4 times since. The story is intriguing and the commitment, skill and energy of the Spotlight team is hugely impressive. That they made an incredible contribution to society by exposing the industrial scale criminality of the Catholic Church is just obvious. But, by their actions, they prevented countless other children from being harmed by Catholic priests. The Spotlight team are truly heroic. But the fight goes on. The recent directive from the Pope that all cases of alleged child abuse should be reported up the line to the Church authorities - and not the police! - shows that the Church is still intent on covering things up. Any parent who suspects any wrongdoing should go to the police - even the Boston police who, presumably, have now got the message.

One of the most important pieces of investigative reporting of all time, the church goes back centuries and someone finally outed them, and because of it how many children worldwide were no longer ever allowed to be alone with a priest now that the truth is out? Huge piece with ripple effects that span the globe

Fantastic journalism, and the movie was bang on. Compelling and well done. I will say however, seeing the name William Scanlan come up on the movie as one of the abusive priests was spooky. That’s my name, damnit!

Pope got Law out of Boston as he would have gone to prison for covering up a felony. Many children abused because of the coverup. Priests belonged in prison but were sent to other parishes with a clean slate. Vatican City is a sovereign country with no extradition allowed. Recent story on history channel covered up for 50 years. How did top Nazis escape from Germany after the war? Through the Vatican. Given false names and identity papers they ended up in Argentina and lived happily aftet👎🏿

Great movie!! Watched it 5 times already! I grew up Catholic, was not abused but glad they are being exposed for those who were! What gets me is how diabolical that the hierarchy would go to such lengths to hide such a horrendous crime!!

People like Cardinal Law got to resign and then were moved to another position within the Vatican, they were never dragged before a judge to answer for their crimes. In many ways they were still treated as being above the law. Cardinal George Pell is the only high ranking priest in the Catholic Church to be brought to justice and found guilty, and that was in Australia. There should be no statute of limitations on child abuse.

Between “Spotlight “ (2016) and “The Verdict” (1982), Boston strikes me as an intimidating place of old money and cold blood.
