Not even 2 minutes in and I’m crying 😂😂 the zoom into your mouth took me out and then “Harry Potter...that’s self explanatory” ended me 😩

Thank you for actually talking about the books you have, not just pointing them out! With every other bookshelf tour, all we're told is "yay I have a book" but I'm just like why tho? Great video!!

I read 'How to Make a Wish' like two days ago and it broke me. It was so beautiful, and I want to adopt the characters and hug them and give them hot chocolate and cookies. I think you'll like it! Also, I read 'The House on Mango Street' a few months ago for my North American literature class and really, really liked it. It's very easy to read and short, but so powerful, important and empowering. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on these two :)

Oof, Just skipping over House of Leaves. It is so good, I can't recommend it enough. When I saw it on your bookshelf I was really excited to hear your reaction to it. Hope you get around to it eventually, but the book can be challenging to get through.

I read How to Read Literature Like a Professor for AP English like three years ago and I really liked it. I found it really easy to read and very interesting.

Thomas Foster books are usually slower, but I love his voice! I read "How to Read Novels like a Professor" the summer before my senior year of high school, and I just recently bought "How to Read Literature like a Professor". I don't know how the two compare, but I hope you at least somewhat enjoy it. It is a quick read - do with that what you will.

ORANGE oh my goodness I love orange !!! and I totally agree about not keeping books you don't like - I've found that I never touch the ones I dislike after reading them, so I prefer borrowing new books from the library and deciding from there whether or not I want to buy myself a copy. coincidentally I started reading six of crows this month!! leigh bardugo is an actual genius?? (also I see that hamilton :)))))))

I've inadvertently purchased things (books and DVDs) with library markings--usually from ebay. When I do, I always call the library in question just to be sure that they sold the book/the sale was legit. :D

I usually don't like bookshelf tours, because a lot of booktubers have so many shelves, and they're all filled with so many books; it makes me feel like a slacker or a fake reader...but then I remember that a lot of the books they have on their shelves they haven't read - and don't plan to read - which just frustrates me, because they take up SO MUCH ROOM.
