I’m newly Christian (23 yrs old) been atheist all my life I don’t know what I am yet whether that’s Catholic or Evangelical or one of the many other factions of Christianity (it’s all very confusing) I’m saying this because I don’t know if these videos are a good representation of the Bible? Can anybody more knowledgeable tell me? Thank you:) doing my best to try and learn!

Welcome to the family. My best advice would be to continue listening to these post. Stay in prayer, but most importantly take some time to read the Bible and or join a bible class. One of the pages I follow here on KZread is “Smart Christians.” The host name is Corey Minor and he’s amazing with breaking down the word. I agree with the previous advice don’t get too caught up with the “domination” just keep your mind on Jesus/Yeshua and ask for guidance. I promise you he’ll lead the way. God bless. 🙏🏾

Just follow Yeshua (Jesus). He is the way, the truth and the life. His word is final, not mans. But, If you want to worship the way He did, then i suggest a messianic synagogue. They are Jewish believers in Him, and super welcoming to gentiles. You dont need to be jewish to go there. Dont worry about factions like the post above said, but study the scripture so no one can mislead you. Because there are wolves everywhere. (Mormons, jehovas witnesses are cults, they deny the trinity and their Yeshua is not the Yeshua of the bible. So i will say steer clear of those) *ESV and NASB are fantastic bible translations. Also, welcome to the family. 🎉 the heavens rejoiced the day you repented and accepted Him.

I think Satan probably spoke more like a talk show host than a devilish evil nymph ready to consume one’s soul-he may have even sounded like Ned Flanders because he’s much more cunning than Protestant Sunday school teachers.

This ESV version is not a good. In Luke 11:2 it should read: Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be your name, Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread and forgive us our sins. For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. This version leaves out so much from this Passage of scripture.

The devil has you right where he wants you, lost and confused. People are destroyed by a lack of knowledge and unbelief. Don't point the finger at everyone else until you properly understand the scriptures. Before studying the Bible, you need to pray that you will correctly interpret it. I'm not bashing on you, just trying to help you get on the straight and narrow path because you've got to get it right before it's too late.
