I appreciate how you actually watched the episode, unlike other reaction videos where people are screaming and jumping and missing dialogue or visual queues. Commentary is great, but I think genuine interest in the episode to the point where you don't want to miss anything is more worthwhile to see from a fan.

Notice that Ahsoka said Master Luke and not Master Skywalker... Because it's Anakin for her. It's a very nice detail. For my theory of who saved Grogu : Anakin himself, showing mercy in the temple... Hayden's return could justify such a flashback

I agree only a master jedi could have saved Grogu, but not Anakin. Wild theory Mace survived his electrocution & fall and doubled back to the temple and got Grogu out. I say him because at the time all the master jedi's were busy being betrayed and dying. We'll find out soon enough.

I think it wouod be a cool scene to see grogu run up to the jedi council room hide with the kids then anakin comes in. The ROTS scene plays out he turns on his lightsaber and throws it at a ventilation shift near the wall or ground and tells them to hurry and run away fast and never return back to to temple and let go of the jedi ways. It would show that no matter what Vader was doing in those early moments there was still lingering regret and mercy. Until his full turn as Vader where he is soulless and robotic.

@@thomassoane4302 yeah that's cool and all but keep one thing in mind , Mace Windu became the Grand Master of the Jedi order because Yoda believed he is better suited to lead them during war times . So Grand Master of the order survived his duel and went to save 1 young Jedi or even some of them but ended up losing this or these young Jedi anyway , he sat on his ass doing nothing while The 2 men he hated the most destroyed his entire order & destroyed the republic he swore to protect & enslave the galaxy really ??!! And then he shows up alive after the emperor & Vader are dead and the empire is gone again really ?? Why ?? It makes no sense for his character and there is no point in bringing him back except nostalgia . I love him as an actor the big Sam and I love the character , seeing him again with the purple Saber would be cool but it wouldn't make any sense .

just a thought, but you know how F&F are kinda amazing at making content that improves other content & how Dave created Ahsoka & she's kinda not in the films? well.. what if Dave thinks that her death (along with possibly others like Ezra, Grogu & Cal) is what *causes* Luke to become so disenfranchised cos he couldn't save them & he feels the Force failed him, or that he isn't good enough any more? might that be something they're working towards? 4-5 years of Ahsoka Thrawn Ezra Grogu et al, filling our hearts endlessly with Star Wars greatness, then destroying us by killing off all involved...

This episode showed me the difference between those who give a shit about the Star Wars legacy(Fraveau, Filoni and Dallas Howard) and those who do not give a shit about the Star Wars legacy(Kennedy, Abrams and Johnson) and why if you have been following the signs that the shows are slowly erasing the ST and Grogu's very existence breaks the ST and also in the ST they never mention Grogu or Mara Jade for that matter(I wonder why?) Cobb Vanth appearing like Clint Eastwood and gunning down three Pykes(Man With No Name trilogy style) was a cool opening and him kicking over the spice just shows that he is a man with principles and he doesn't want those drugs in his town. Also seeing Luke training Grogu gave us Yoda training Luke vibes. Luke taking Grogu to the top of that tree and hearing the Star Wars theme come up reminded me of when Luke looked up to the Twin Suns of Tatooine yearning for adventure. Cad Bane appearing looking more sinister then even a Sith Lord tells you that he is the "King of the Bounty Hunters" and having him in it is great because of the past history that he has with Boba and Fennac just makes it better and we know he is not the only one that the Pykes brought in(also Cobb is alive because Cad hit his shoulder) and also because Cad went to Freetown to make a point. Because if Cad wanted to kill Cobb then he would be dead. The Choice is also reminiscent of the choice that Luke made in Empire Strikes Back and the end result was him losing his hand, learning that Darth Vader was his father and nearly dying himself when he fell from Cloud City.

i thought Luke was being manipulative here, letting Grogu see that Djinn was there (via watching the Wizard takeoff & through his chainmail gift) and maybe making him think that Djinn didn't want to see him. Also, in the flashback sequence, the 501 st helmets, thought different, resemble the style of Mandalorian helmet Djinn wears, maybe sowing distrust????? I love Luke, but maybe these slight, intricate mistakes are precursors to his bigger mistakes with Kylo/Ben.
