You should review Holy Guardian Angel by Michael Cecchetelli. It describes more than one way to contact the HGA besides the one mentioned in the abaramelin and holy daimon both oh which are too tedious and time consuming and more than a little dangerous.

In Nacodics Anonymous (NA), your HGA is your sponsor. The demon's come in I believe step 4 Personal Inventory of yourself and you shortcomings and bad acts. For each one you ask God to forgive you. IT'S YOUR INNER DEMONS like sex addict, drugs, lying....etc. the funny thing is is that the 12 steps are a spiritual step ladder that goes along with your own belief system but people are too damn prideful to look at it thinking I'm not an addict or an alcoholic so they never Ascend during their lifetime. Pride one of the main streets are killers of all people everyone wants to think they know it all and not ask for help from their HGA.

Contacting your Holy Guardian Angel is normally safe and trivial. There are instructions in orthodox prayer book. The Jordanville prayer book is a good one in english. Something is off if contacting your guardian angel is dangerous. Binding and commanding the source of the destructive energies is not a good idea. It's not binding them that's dangerous its having them do your bidding.

What is dangerous is getting them to do your bidding before you have knowledge and conversation of your HGA, at which point "your bidding" is still the bidding of your lower self rather than of your higher self. I agree with the rest of what you suggest here.

I think that contacting a guardian angel is safe, however trying to bind demons to control with such Angel, you better have a strong faith lol getting a bit risky. but then again with God nothing is impossible. #1 is to only fear God.

this was great, I just ordered a copy of the book of abramelin so it was really fun to take a look inside!

One of the stories that I've read is that after leaving the Golden Dawn, Crowley went to the Scottish highlands, particularly in Loch Ness, there he bought the Boleskine house, Crowley then went and tried to perform the Abramelin operation but famously screwed the ritual up, he never banished the demons that he had summoned, leading to strange happenings occurring in and around the Boleskine House, which practically made the house haunted, and tragedy soon happened afterwards, Crowley's lodge keeper, Hugh Gillies, suffered a number of personal tragedies, including the loss of two children.

By my understanding that place was already haunted when he bought it. On top of that he didn't get far enough to summon any demons. The version he was doing you just pray to God two or three times a day for six months for an angel. The angel gives directions on how to bind the demons on the last two or three days.

Actually, if u looked into the Boleskine House' history u will find that the house was "haunted" before Crowley purchased the property. That's probably what attracted Crowley to the land...the "supernatural" stories he heard about the place. Go to the website called atlasobscura.com and u can read about the properties that Crowley owned and performed rituals in...very informative site

From many practices magicians, I’ve heard that banishing demons is sort of “frowned” upon. Sort of like inviting a friend over for dinner then taking stuff out their pockets and kicking them to the streets. I’m still learning and always love more insight 🙏

Aleister Crowley at first thought the holy guardian angel was symbolic for one's higher self, later he changed his mind & in "Magick Without Tears" was of the opinion that the angel was an objective entity.

I have never heard of such book in my life and now after looking that up on the internet i came across with your video. It's really mind blowing but not anymore 'cause there's information about it and thanks to you i got the answer of why i got those words in my head.

@BROLY PLAYS. I would refer you to your Holy Guardian Angel for ALL answers... I'm just a guy who bought a book ;P I hope this doesn't sound too rude, but I strongly believe that this is true. If you don't have Knowledge and Conversation of your HGA yet, then everything else in this book (that assumes you do) can be dangerous. I personally believe more dangerous than any material harm. If an 18 month ritual sounds too long, I believe the Gallery of Magick are currently working on an HGA ritual to publish as we speak, the preparation of which is their book : Mystical Words of Power. Good luck in your searches!

Not when you consider how insidious the data scrapers are online. They can see everything you do online, and share between browsers, apps and even read your email. Of course google will show you this video if you bought the book on a website, looked at its Wikipedia page, visited a forum where it was discussed (not even necessarily by you), or any of a hundred related things online. They see what you are interested in, then put you into a hall of mirrors/echo chamber of similar content that is not easy to break out of. Because, isn't that what you wanted.....? Evil.

Annika Theresia I didn’t read holy daimon.. but the book of abramaelin is for beginner.. I was a very spiritual person before read it.. so I was able to meet my holy guardian faster (2 months). I think u should check out this book.. it’s pretty good I read it every 6 months n u can get it online for free “secrets of ancient magic path of the goddess”

My significant other found my copy (McGregor edition) of all places at The Video Game Store amount the player guides. So he picked it up for me.

I'm curious to read his follow up if he ever releases it.

I read the original English translation as a kid about 30 years ago. I don’t remember much of it, with the exception of using cards for different spells. I’ll have to get this version and revisit it. The calling and binding of demons and putting them to use is reminiscent of The Testament of Solomon. I wonder if there is a connection.

I could be wrong g, but I think they may have a slightly different understanding of "demon" not so much as evil but as a lower form of spiritual force... would that be accurate?

I don't seem to remember that. In fact, The Book of Abramelin actually contains goetic magic. The main thing is K&C of HGA, but after contact you're actually supposed to summon 4 demon princes.

My absolute favorite book on the Abramelin ritual is HOLY DAIMON. Life changing book!

Check out Holy Daemon by Frayer Acher. He adapted the ritual to continue working. Pretty grueling experience though.

Not if you're interested in that particular edition, I mean, it was good enough for Crowley...

Crowley of course controversially denied the notion that the HGA is the "Higher Self." Interestingly, 18 months is just about the same time that it takes to complete the Tibetan practice of ngondro. One might interpret the "demons" as repressed complexes of the unconscious, which must be integrated to experience complete individuation, as in Tantra.

ah yes... the sacred magick of abramelin the mage... this was the first occult book I ever read. i have never preformed the ritual though. 18 months, then got reduced to 6 months... that's a pretty big leap imo XD

Update: After 2 year's I would have to say the Gallery of Magic books work the best for me this includes Adam Blackthorn. I know someone who completed the Abremalin Operation in a cabin in NM. Unfortunately, he went back to California after that. When he came out he said just submit and it will happen faster. Never saw him again and I helped build and raise money for that cabin. Now, year's later I still have not done it.

Best book for finding Gods/Spirits/Angels ect. True names and how to say them and use them? I think I seen you review one but forgot... I just ordered Mythology Gods and Heroes, but do not think that is what I am looking for there, just loved the look of that book and wanted it in my library. Yes. Mather's translation is deeply flawed (basses on an inaccurate and incomplete French translation)

You're talking about the Mathers edition which he translated from an incomplete, flawed French translation. This was translated from German (so original language), complete manuscripts.

6 or 18 months are not as hard as they sound. The author says a "bondman living in his master's house" could complete it satisfactorily. The trouble is people assume the ideal circumstances are mandatory. Those are just the requirements if you are independently wealthy. I know a guy who completed the Abramelin while working a day job. It was WEIRD and he had to send his wife away on a vacation while he did final week, but it was doable.

I don't know about who has tried it in history but I watched a movie two year's back called The dark song, excellent movie I must add for the concept, simple yet dark. The movie is based on this ritual, where the main actor tries to summon her guardian angel through this method. Definitely give it a watch.

Oh, also, a little known fella called something like Alistair Crowley was supposed to have started the right in Boleskine House just off of Lock Ness. He did not get to finish the rite as he was called to Paris to help out his mentor (in the GD??? Mathers maybe??) - hr tried not to go, as the rite is a "closed" rite (ie finish it or else). So he didn't finish it- left the house haunted, it then burnt down (after all sorts of stuff like an abandoned pig farm where all the pigs were left to die of starvation- nice..) and then- Nessy? ;-)

Abramelin is easier than people make it out to be. It's not EASY per se, but there are urban legends that purport it to be borderline impossible. If you can take a bit of time away from the world each day for 6 to 18 months, gradually amping up the intensity, and then take a two-week vacation away from everything at the tale end of it, you're good to go.

Hi Ben, yes, it's true that it's on many such lists, no it's not true that it's cursed. I'd say if you're interested, you should pick it up and read it from the beginning. What's problematic is when people flick to the end for all the 'good stuff' and don't have the necessary 'training' that comes beforehand as described in the earlier chapters. The results can be unpleasant. But reading it won't do anyone any harm (desite silly superstitions)

Why has it taken me 1 year to get to the point where I feel I can actually attempt things in books like this. Like why has it taken so long for me to get a perception that isn't distorted by my previous interpretation of how things really are?? It's hard work all this spiritual enlightening stuff. Very exciting though, even a year in. Lon Duquettes work is something I wish I started with day 1 and to have that crutch all the way through from learning simple hebrew to, well contacting your HGA is just great.

​@@FoolishFishBooks From the looks of it, the edition of the book that you possess is from Georg Dehn instead of MacGregor Mathers which is the newest translation and best version of the Book of Abramelin according to the author and his order who deciphered the grimoire in question. if you want to how consistent it is. There's a listing of all the total demons in the Book of Abramelin, compared it the demons found on Lucifer and The Hidden Demons Book. You'll notice the listing isn't complete although both books same the same demonic names and their hierarchy. The system itself is based on pathworking wherein you read a certain passage similar to a poem and visualization it to make the magic manifest. Its kinda hard at first but it does bring results... I only reason I reveal what I know in regards to the Book of Abramelin, the book which Lucifer and The Hidden Demons is based upon, because I felt indebted to it. The spells in this grimoire help me healed from a debilitating illness, then restored me to full health. It was also able to quell the constant arguments and brought peace to our family. I also used the curses associated in this grimoire in bringing misery and despair to my enemies... The list of possibilities are endless. If people or serious occultists what to take full control of their destiny and not afraid or fearful of the freedom and salvation which darkness could bestow upon the brave souls willing to take the leap of faith... I urge you to read Lucifer and The Hidden Demons.

There's plenty of magical books or grimoire to recommend to satisfy such curiosity although you need to be specific. Also about the previous book that I recommended, Around next year there's going to be a sort of sequel to that book or another piece of magical innovation written by the same author.

Lucifer and The Hidden Demons has plenty of those involving personal creativity, guidance and wisdom. Also try checking out these enhanced and simplified magickal systems of Goetia Magick. All of this is wrong.

Many people have reviewed this book saying it brought horror into their lives and haunted them, brought bad luck etc. and early death 😂 does it bring fortune for anyone? Or only misfortune? I wonder if they didn’t heed the warning…
