Typhoon Goni hit the Philippines at the beginning of November, devastating communities and destroying thousands of homes. Another typhoon known as Typhoon Vamco (or Typhoon Ulysses) struck the Philippines this week, leaving thousands of people homeless and jobless. Many are without power. Combined, Typhoon Goni and Typhoon Vamco have killed at least 22 people.
