I’ve seen my fair share of analog horror on KZread. Sometimes I find it creepy, but rarely do I find it scary. That first broadcast, however, genuinely scared and horrified me. Idk how something as simple as a disturbing face and reversing the audio can put the literal fear of God back in me. Then that second broadcast came on and I had to look away from the screen. Idk what it is, but this shit made my skin crawl worse than any other analog horror video I’ve seen. Maybe I’m just being a wimp, but man…that face is nothing short of anxiety inducing.

Also if the Boiled One is “The Bird” the war criminal then that would explain his appearance as the boiled man with things sticking out of his head as in Dante’s Inferno the seventh ring of hell is the Violence layer, on the outer part of the ring was a lake of boiling blood and fire that housed murderers and those who inflicted violence towards others in which the sinners are shot at by patrolling centaurs with arrows shooting at any heads that pass the surface of the burning lake.

Idk if theyd be as uncomfortable, maybe Gemini in a few parts of it. Mandela and Gemini are definitely unsettling and freaky, but something about this one was genuinely more anxiety inducing than those two. This one definitely had some more twisted and fucked imagery, especially with the main creature’s design and how it moved, talked, and just the idea of what it does to its victims.

The boiled one is genuinely the only analog horror monster that disturbs me, I can't look at it for very long because I feel my skin crawl when I do.

Some watching the Smile Tapes, I have gotten way better at tolerating creepy imagery when it comes to faces. When I see PHEN-228, I still try to keep it out of my view. I thought it was the face, the way it moved, and the distorted voice combined that terrified me, but it turns out its just the face.

It's on hold, for now. It became a bigger thing then expected and two other games sucked the attention bout of me. I'm gonna make it topical and release it with the summer vacation - this month though in the same style as my pal world review is Dragon's Dogma and Disco Elysium

I feel that… I thought it would just be your standard analog horror (kinda creepy and unsettling), but this creature along with how it speaks and the music that plays while it speaks was skin crawling and legit anxiety inducing. I shouldn’t feel genuine fear over the equivalent of a moving png, yet here we are

Annoying is an understatement. I’d say it’s more me laying in a dark room, seeing my lamp angled a certain way and wondering whether it’s my lamp or if I’m gonna end up paralyzed
