Heather voice is awesome! When I hear her sing I can hear the God in her. I love that she is not pressured by the times. A lot of artist that have amazing voices but they sell out! Heather is a true artist and did not sell out! She stays true to her art and her love for God. Thank you Heather for keeping it real!

Usually I say no to anyone doing Whitney but Heather's got the chops! From the clip, I can hear that she's taking a different approach to the songs. She's not doing Whitney songs like Whitney did. She's doing them with her spin. I like that. I can't make it to Broadway but I hope they offer it on dvd.

I can't think of a more technically proficient singer to do this. You are on youtube, why don't you look at the other things she has done. From Lion King to Aida, and singing with Andrea Bocelli. Watch her version of Unbreak my Heart and watch her hit all kinds of notes. My fave performances are "Easy as Life" from Aida and when she sang "Your Song" for Elton John.

Agree a little. Except the Body Guard wasn't tailormade for whitney. It was orignally for Steve Mcqueen and Diana Ross (in the 70s) but it didnt work out. Then Diana and Ryan O'neal. Dolly parton (Original singer of I Will Always Love You) and Liza Minelli was considered as well, but Kevin Costner wanted Whitney Houston. I'm sooo glad he did!

i have to say, ms. headley is the only singer on this planet who is comparable, voice wise, to ms. houston. if anybody were to play whitney on broadway, my first choice would be heather. listen to any of her songs from broadway (she ruled Aida and rocked Lion King) or her cd's. the lady can let loose. she is just amazing. that voice is a gift from God. my only hope is that the storyline and dialogue is better written than the movie. otherwise, i can't wait for this to come stateside!

I don't like when people compare to Whitney. She's not playing/doing Whitney. She's playing Rachel Marron.

I compare her because shes singing "So Emotional" a song thats definitely not from the bodyguard...Thats Whitney's songs. So comparisons are to be expected...Its just a given... it's not like "The Wiz" where its an actual musical...they are making a movie (that was tailor made FOR Whitney Houston) into a musical... Comparisons are going to be made..she's not just doing a lil cover to one of her songs...she taking on a role that was Whitney's breakout performance. I will always love u is HER song

Wow...IM REALLY SHOCKED. I think she has a great voice. I would like to see MORE. Because, this is really no match up even OPERATIC THAT....complements to WHITNEYS VOICE. Whitney is known for her notes. At least being able to touch those alittle would be a smash. Its easy to just throw a black woman in there and say oh, ok, this will work. I want a little more precision relating to WHITNEYS VOICE. Maybe i need to see more. But for now, im not ok with this!
