The Bob Monkhouse Show with Peter Cook
Комедия
Peter Cook appears on The Bob Monkhouse Show from 28 January 1985.
The first minute or so does seem a bit contrived as its just a rather forced introduction to Peter Cook's "The Frog And Peach" sketch but with Bob Monkhouse playing the role of Dudley Moore's interviewer.

They're all drinking at the Heaven's Gate Arms pub. God, I miss this man. His genius wit will forever be my therapy.

rightly or wrongly - possibly both, hahaha!
2 more in heavan... our loss...peace
Thank you to Bob Monkhouse for keeping all those film prints and video tapes of lost shows....if only the BBC had been as, how to put this, non-idiotic in throwing away most of their archive. Including many shows by Mr Cook, whose genius was plain to see. Well, it woulda been if they'd kept his TV shows with Dudley. Cretins.

A served peach with a frog in its mouth.
Obviously it is contrived to the extent that Bob is leading Peter - or sohuld I say Sir Arthur - on.

Not so much contrived as BM replicating Dud's part.
He could have done Shakespeare
Peter Cook was John Lennon if he'd gone to Cambridge.
Were the audience all illiterate?
The only funny thing Bob ever did was beg for the return of his 'lost' joke notebook.
