You’re right Gus, the half choil makes it so safe and secure in heavy use and the swell makes the ergos exceptional in hard work, which is what you want it for. The neat size isn’t just essential for legal uk edc, but it also makes it very controllable for whittling. The point is close to your hand and you can do fine Bushcraft woodwork with it that you couldn’t do with a large fixed blade. And then it just slips in the pocket, discreet and convenient AND LEGAL. Yes it’s a little heavy for it’s size though. But I highly recommend the nicely made range of leather pouches that TBS sell specifically for this knife. It’s a great knife and a scandy grind is so easy to sharpen in the field and great for woodwork.

That looks plenty stout enough to be a hard use folder. Could be part of a good 3 knife system with a victorinox or other multitude with a saw and a fixed blade. You have become very good at finding these hidden gems! Well done!

I take your point, and like I said in the video, it's one of the best super budget, Bushcraft knives money can buy, for sure 👌🏼 As is the BPS range, though I don't believe they have an EDC folder out, as of yet, so I will check... So that's why I reviewed the BOAR, finally, after 2.5 years, as it's UK Legal, which most look out for. I have supported #Ukraine 🇺🇦 and have enjoyed some Beavercraft products - great value!
