Yes and it’s true, “it’s about common sense, it’s about pragmatism. That working with financial institutions, entrepreneurs and then that’s how we make it to move towards that just transition that we want to see”. I have always said this, NJ is the key to energy transition, he knows how to do it. A good discussion thank you Mr NJ for that. We need a just transition and it’s time for Africa.

Let's continue these discussions and actions towards a brighter, more equitable energy future for all. Given the importance of collaboration and pragmatism in achieving a just energy transition, what specific steps do you think are most critical for African countries to take to navigate this transition effectively?

@@StandardBankGroup I think to achieve this, African nations must prioritize the establishment and enforcement of policies and regulations that support renewable energy, expand access to energy in underprivileged areas, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, modernize the power grid, and invest in workforce development. Also as NJ said there should be "sign baby sign" it shouldn't take so long to approve a project than the time you need to build that project you need to be able drive up projects. The need for the government to give incentives, tax subsidies and tax incentives. They are other many steps to tackle the just transition.
