Still rough as hell at night
I used to live nearby and always loved this place
My house was also built in 1846 and I also did not get the memo and painted it blue. What a coincidence.😮

Actually just checked Zoopla - yes there is a 2 bed apt available for sale at £895k. I thought it was suspiciously cheap for central london
Really a pity there are NO trees or greenery on that street . It would be lovely if they had trees and plants in huge containers to give it beauty , greenery and shade .

The pavements are too narrow to plant trees. Imagine trying to get a pushchair or a wheelchair around them. Besides, there are plenty of trees in the nearby parks, and there are quite a lot of parks in this area. I live a few minutes walk from here.
I love the blue hold out!
It’s where Peter Pan is set and where Paddington was filmed.
He means £1m per room, including the toilets and built-in pantry.
Looks the absolute double of a street in Newcastle not far from the RVI hospital, actually looks bigger
The prices would be 24 million since you posted. 😂Love your video.

Probably a dealers house, allows addicts to find them. "Up to a blue house, up three flights of stairs Everybody's pinned you, yeah, and nobody cares, He's got the works, gives you sweet taste You gotta split because you got no time to waste"
Rebrand in 1900s😮😮😮it took a long time for the rebranding to work, it was still a very scary place in the nineties😮😮😮
The reason they’re only £1m is the blue house’s fault!
Chopin keeps following me everywhere I go 😂❤
I lived on this street mid-90s. The day we moved in, one of my housemates passed a group of cops surrounding a scraggy looking guy, ordering him, 'Put down the needle.' Next day I two two guys chasing the dragon on the steps across the road. The end of Caledonian Rd. around the corner was always full of drug dealers. Once, in the doorway of the Italian deli that used to be there, I found a bag of grass. Initially thought it might be oregano, because of where I found it.
Wow take the cars away and you could be in the 1800's. What an incredible time capsule.
£1mil. Because we cant have the UK natives affording houses in their own homeland

Several of the houses do have cars parked. This terrace was built long before cars were even invented. Anyway, you don't need a car in London on account of buses, the tube, and what an American would call sidewalks. I'd hate to drive in London.
Whoever thought painting one house blue like that would be a good thing.
Our family home was 280 years old when I was born. Growing up, I loved hearing about the original and various upgrades carried out. The grounds are amazing. We had an orchard, vegetable garden, and ample space for playing.

Ours was the first house built in our tiny town in the 1800s to house the station master and his family after the railway was built, though that was only 1870s
Wtf. My dad got a mortgage for a _really normal_ house in frigging Brixton, South London for £1M. We're not a rich family- that's 's just property in London. Houses near Kings Cross (especially historic ones like these_ should go for £2-4MM easily.
No trees, no lawns. It looks like a version of Hell.
It’s London, I wouldn’t give 2 Bob 👍🏻🇬🇧
Oh! I have walked there! I didn't even know this, so thank you!
aah, those lovely wires hanging in the air... adds to the millions!
Would do good with some trees
What a charming place!
everyone having a go at blue but ignoring the white painted on the other side
Those electric wires webbing across everywhere sure do make for a million pound view!
Those street lamps are copies made from one dug up from Millbrae Crescent in Glasgow's South Side.
Notice the boarded up window at the start. Delightful place to live I'm sure, LOL.
Used to know a lovely crackhouse on Caledonian Road, it got raided few times but we the people persevered. And the pigs were ever so nice. 😊
Hardly any place in London is a bargain. A town for the rich in essence.
It's bottom of Cally rd with junkies needles lying about....if you look at bottom of Cresent there's a history board hence clever clogs here....£1m for renovated dump with people hitting up on ya doorstep...good value😢😢😢😢

LOVE THIS Amazing history 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️👍
Lived in England, houses ugly on the outside and can be beautiful castles inside. Germany has better castles on the outside. And France Beach everyone, they are the true artisans, the Louis XIV, had impeccable taste.
Looks like the street in 'Paddington' bear, his adoptive parents lived in a house just like these. ❤️😂😍
That is Arsenal territory. The house should be red. I thank you.

Are the houses roomy enough inside? It's the sort of place I'd expect to see a couple on Grand Designs wanting to extend out or up with a wildly contrasting style like a mud brick or bamboo tower ...
A beautiful quiet hidden gem of a street? You couldn't pay me to live there. No trees, no plants, just bricks and concrete. Hysterical
A few trees and shrubs would cheer up this dreary street.
Also there's one person that's like "f*** it I'm painting the house blue'
Back in the early 1970s some of the houses were rented properties
I’ve been there. I delivered food for UberEats, the girl told me she was renting with her boyfriend. It seems like most of the houses are subdivided into flats.
I think the blue house is lovely. And the street looks fine without trees. 😍
They were selling for 130-200k from about 1996-1999
Id sell it immediately and move to the country.
These houses are objectively tiny and cramped. You probably couldn't let out a solid fart when you're by yourself without both neighbours hearing... Parking is awkward, traffic is bad, probably a lot of noise pollution 24 hours a day from the nearby main road. For a million you can get a solid plot of land with a nice big house less than an hour away from here. But no go ahead, buy your $1mil sardine spot. House prices are absurd.

It used to be a quiet street. Since you posted this video its now on the tourist map and will be swamped. Houses will have 50% wiped off their value.
