Nick Aldis has added a much needed power dynamic for the bloodline. For far too long it felt like the bloodline was the authority figure on smackdown but now it feels even bigger because now the bloodline has an authority they have to answer to

If Pete Dunne enters the Rumble as Pete Dunne, the Long Arm pub is going to pop harder than the Punk return.

Love Nick Aldis as GM so far. He just oozes authority. Bayley is like Bianca’s personal jobber at this point. The SD Women’s Roster needs some new talent to refresh things. Getting closer to Pete Dunne’s return perhaps. The Bloodline are quite boring when Roman and Jey aren’t around.

We need more Sati on Wrestletalk. He has differing and very insightful viewpoints.

It feels like tempest has been more positive about WWE lately. Maybe it’s because I haven’t listened to the podcast much and only list vids and such. But it’s pleasant hearing him in this setting.

I think he's more positive about it because WWE has been generally better. Even if Smackdown is the most hit and miss of the shows.

I want Bayley to win the rumble sooo bad. I know Rhea and Gunther did the Ironman spots last year but I think babyface underdog Bayley starting at 1 or 2 and winning would be great.

I think it would be great if Bayley accidentally eliminates each member of Dmg Ctrl. They're near elimination and she goes to help but accidentally ends up eliminating them.

I was at the show yesterday, and it was my first live wrestling show ive ever been to. Ngl, it was quieter than i thought, but i loved the show and lost my voice through the night. It was surprising to see Gable Steveson vs Cedric Alexander in a dark match

I thought it should've been a bigger Smackdown. I honestly think that the weather was a factor because it was Snowing and nearly 0°F, with -12° Realfeel temperatures.

I’m so tired of smack down ending with “call Roman reigns” like it works every now and then if it’s leading to a big segment but every week it’s like why isn’t Roman , the champion, in kayfabe watching the matches of his cousins or his challengers to see what’s unfolding

They should at least film some footage or something when he’s there and play them o the weeks when he’s not.

WWE should consider a trios title. Last Testament, Street Business, O.C., Bloodline, Judgment Day, Imperium, Logan-Theory-Waller, LWO, Other LWO, Alpha Academy, there’s more than enough for a tournament already.

I always assumed AOP'S names were a reference to the "Occam's Razor" term so that's how Akam is pronounced. Also +.5 to Tempest for the Chappelle's Show reference, even tho he botched it 😂

Call roman Reigns doesn't work anymore because roman is not as over as he was last year. Remember bloodline at its peak. Everyone was afraid of roman Now nobody cares like ok the guys can't win a match to save his life. What is he gonna do?! I think the end of it was summerslam, where they had 2 interferences in a match they specifically said no one was allowed to interfere

It took longer for me to come around to Carmelo Hayes with his "Jinder Syndrome," (every match with the same finish, sidekick interference into finisher, including a belt shot for the title win) but I do like him a lot now. So much so, that I hope they subvert expectations and just have Melo and Trick split amicably after they tag in the Dusty. Could lose, could win, but I don't think they should get the tag titles. Have Melo get called up in the Rumble, Trick holds it down in NXT, and that's that.

Also I’m voting for Solo vs Orton at mania

Still think Liv Morgan has the potential of winning the Rumble, she and Rhea Ripley got mentioned specifically during this smackdown match between Bayley and Bianca, I dont think they did that without a purpose, they could've mentioned anybody, they could've mentioned just Rhea alone. Her return will be in the same place Rhea Ripley took her out previously in Tampa FL (St Petersbrug but I mean they're advertising it as both) Also don't think a babyface (Bayley) you want to feel sympathetic for because her friends are about to abandon her, should overcome all the heels AND babyfaces to win the rumble whilst simultaneously having a very poor loss streak, a very very bad loss streak, and the turn from dmg ctrl hasn't happened yet. I'm of the belief that Sasha has a role to play in this Dmg ctrl/Bayley storyline and they're holding off on the turn until then, could happen in the Rumble match, might not.

Somehow, you made this all about AEW. Their wrestlers continue matches as an injury takes place, there’s a level of risk they take, but it shows heart and professionalism to keep the show going. That’s how it used to be in the 80’s and 90’s. WWE however are not willing to take that risk nowadays, for the sake of their wrestler’s health and longevity. They’re calling matches off as soon as they see a problem. There’s merit and criticism valid for both sides, it’s not that tough to figure out.

@HereForTheCupcakes , I think you are mistaking me favoring 1 over the other. I am not. I like BOTH WWE & AEW. I am calling out those tribalism wrestling "fans" that swear up & down they NEVER WATCH AEW...But everytime an AEW wrestler gets hurt, they are all over social media about how unsafe AEW is. Yet they NEVER SAY ANYTHING when a WWE wrestler gets injured. Truth of the matter is, there are actually currently MORE WWE wrestlers injured than AEW wrestlers. Does that mean WWE is UNSAFE? No. It means this is a CONTACT SPORT & shit happens sometimes.

Feels more like they're actually trying to protect their performers. Ever since the TKO merger, WWE has been trying to protect their talent from serious and potentially life threatening injuries. This ain't the carny days anymore
