Those line of scrimmage and the other line are shown in all games right? They just had to show it on snow instead of turf. That was the only difference.

Yeah ...the news said the snow was supposed to come by the second/third qtr. But like you said, out of nowhere it started snowing before the game even started and just did NOT let up.

I lived in Allentown at the time. Believe it or not it came down a little heavier by me. It was awesome tho. No point to shoveling until late night, nowhere to go. Just frozen pizza, some Jack Daniels and the birds. Perfect Sunday I'll never forget!

Yep, I was tailgating at the Linc when it started. Best birds game I've ever been to.

I was there! Almost left when it was 14-0 but man was I rewarded! I learned a valuable lesson: NEVER leave a game early. You may miss history!

Loved this team! The Riley Cooper thing happened in the offseason, then they started 1-3. They fought like crazy and caught fire right around this time. Fun year!

McCoy seems to be immune to snow. This isn't the only game he just shredded other teams in a snow game (look at 2017* Bills vs Colts most recently) *thanks for the catch

Players didn’t respect him, He treated the grown men playing for him as if he was still coaching college kids, Oh yeah, and um, he was a racist a$$hole. So there’s that, too. I forgot what his exact comments were, but I remember reading the article about his racist talk he was using about his own players.

I will never forget this game in my life it's in my top 5 of all time. I can't explain how many pick up football games broke out throughout the City after that game, this was something special sorry if you missed it live, truly unbelievable.

This was the year Shady won the rushing title, Nick Foles had that amazing season of 27 TDs to 2 Ints. The Eagles won the division. Less than two seasons later Chip Kelly dumped both players, amazingly. The team went 6-9 before he was canned.

This is what a Lions home game would look like every winter if Ford Field wasn't a inside stadium.

Easily one of the best games I've ever watched.

I love snow games because it accentuates one of the unique aspects of the NFL that isn't present in other professional sports.

Out of all Eagle games to go to this was my first Eagle/NFL!!!! I will forever be able to point out my first Eagles game for life!!! Best day ever!!! I think they called it SNOW BOWL! FLY EAGLES FLY

One of the craziest games I ever witnessed in my life. Lesean McCoy juking the lions d in a blizzard was so damn satisfying to watch.

It had the Pats comeback from down 2 scores against the Browns in under 90 seconds, the wild Ravens-Vikings finish, and the Phins-Steelers game where the Steelers almost pulled off the miracle lateral play if not for AB’s foot being out of bounds on review

My husband and I went to this game , and I was thrilled since it was the first we’d gone to since 1990 right after we were married . Luckily we arrived early , because the main roads from South Jersey became impossible to drive on . Nick Foles was the QB. I kept drinking hot chocolate and thought it was one of the best games I’ve ever seen .

I remember this game like it was yesterday. Earlier that day I went with my little brother to make a run real quick and we ending up helping ppl that got they car stuck on an uphill on City line Ave (for my Philly folks) thankfully making it back just in time of the game. Man what a day that was🤦🏽‍♂️😁

One of the best nfl sundays in recent memory when it comes to weather games. This and the Vikings-Ravens on at the same time was amazing

It's surprising Ross scored 2 TDs returning both punt and kickoff in this snow weather, which are spectacular

My husband and I went to this game, good thing we left early as friends of ours didn’t make it due to the snowstorm. I remember it was so cold , I was getting hot chocolate during halftime. Visibility was better than what could be seen on tv, and it was a great game despite the snow . Foles and Jackson were both great.

I'm in reading, pa and was experiencing this in my living room as the snow looked just like it doors here outside my window. I 420'd it up, stuck on my foles Jersey and had the experience of my life. Thanks Lions for an absolute fabulous day I can watch forever thanks to KZread and the uploader here.

9:49 will always and forever be one of the most memorable plays in eagles history. McCoy was a damn bull on parade that day

Not sure if the NFL has done a Top Ten countdown on "Snow Games" or not, but, if they haven't, they should! I remember watching this game live on TV, and I was stunned by the amount of snow that fell on Philadelphia that day! Games played in snow like this are just a little more special! NFL throwback, you should upload the Detroit Lions vs Atlanta F alcons comeback victory from London, a few years back. And maybe that time the Eagles and Vikings Sunday night game that was postponed until the following Wednesday, due to bone chilling weather conditions!

This Game on played on my father's birthday, He sure liked it and he got a nice Birthday present an Eagles win. I remember coming home from church and me and my dad saw this game though he slept though it all.

Mccoy looked like he was skating and gliding out there. Everyone else was just stagnant

The craziest thing about this day was that snow wasn’t even in the forecast. Just came out of nowhere. I was listening to the first half in the car and nearly got in like 4 accidents and once I got home I watched the entire game on DVR and was in awe at how the players actually managed to do anything.

A classic right here. I remember where I was in Philly that day watching this

I can remember a lot of the players saying how this game reminded them of how much fun it was playing sandlot football in the winter as kids. You could tell they were having a blast! Lol

I was there. The drive home, which was normally about 40 minutes took just under 4 hours. My left leg was cramping so badly because of the amount of times I had to press and release the clutch. Still, I'm glad I got to witness this spectacle. I had 2nd row at the 40 yd. line too.

Why is that crazy? Both games were on the east coast. Same weather pattern was flowing through the area. I would have expected all games in the northeast would have been affected.
