Great new story, thank you Jennifer Gill. Both of you, Jill and Ian, soft melodious lullabies always. 🙏🏽💙🔝
This needs a larger audience. You're an amazing narrator!
I always get excited when I hear Jennifer’s musical cue at the beginning of these videos. Fantastic reading and story!

It's always great when people notice the themes! Thank-you! Jennifer
Absolutely my favorite Horror channel.
Beautifully done Jen, thank you very much!
Very cool story. Reminds me of "The Bucket of Blood." He just wanted to be a famous sculptor!

This is more "The Box of Ass" than "The Bucket of Blood" imo.
I got chills as the story reached its climax! So much is left to the imagination (in particular what exactly happens to someone when petrified), and that makes it all the more frightening.
Oooh I really liked this one. Excellent reading!

Wow-awesome tale with great narration!
This was very different and unexpected, a weird tale indeed. Jennifer Gill was perfect narrating this story.
Thank you Jennifer. The story was fascinating. I didn't really expect there to be such a creature. Your narration was splendid.
MONDAY AT LAST !! H.B. YOU NEVER LET ME DOWN , Jennifer , I think beside "MOMMY " this might be my favorite of your narrating...Fabulous job , with your beautiful voice...T.Y. 😸

I’m about to listen to that next. If a demon is summoned or i become a ghost then i shall come to you.
Great story and narration.
My first story read by Madame Gill. So enjoyed it! Brava
Wow. So perfectly voiced; just fell right into the tale. So glad I followed the links
Fantastic!
Excellent little story, and narration. Reminds me of The Thing In The Museum.
Awesome narrative and story
Excellent! Really enjoyed this one - thank you very much!
Great choice for a reading! I've never heard (or read) the story before. Well done!
Great job Jen. Thank you! At first I thought this would be connected to "The Black Stone", by Robert E. Howard. It was not and I was pleasantly surprised. This story is good, but sad. I do like the atonement of the character in his final decision. That really is a creature from the hellish outer planes and dimensions of space! It is so docile, but oh so dangerous. Fantastic job! Thank you!
Terrific story and your narration is excellent my dear lady
Excellence!
wonderful as always, Jennifer - good story
What an ending!!! Great job and many thanks.
brilliant love this one
Nicely done

A beautiful reading voice, great story also...
Great read Jen !! Been suggesting HB to ppl for entertainment while self isolating, posted this story on my FB page, has that perfect creepiness to it.

your voice is becoming quite modulated. you did a wonderful reading! great story, too. it would be so interesting to hear more of the author’s work. :) 🌷
Awesome story. I really liked it.
Thank you
Beautifully narrated Jennifer. A great story. Personally, I think that weird tales transcend gender, when written or read out loud. That said it is always a welcome joy to hear a story written and narrated in the female voice. Love to hear more!
Excellent . Hope you are able to do other stories by Mary Elizabeth Counselman (The Three Pennies and The Unwanted are especially good )
Great Story! Also it's a thousand times scarier if you've already read "Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonnegut Jr (written maybe 40 years later). Ice-9 anyone?
Nicely read story .
I really like this one. Genuinely creepy.
Ab fab, Jennifer! Thanx!
I recently acquired a copy of Weird Tales December 1937 (cost me $125), and that's how I discovered her. Also would highly suggest the book Half in Shadow, which is an Arkham House publication of her short stories.

Very nice.
Ah, quite similar to Lovecrat's Man of Stone, five years older than it too. Well-written, nonetheless
Northern uk lass... good voice appropriate to this nasty tail
Wonderful narration, thank you. Are you from Lancashire, perchance? 🤔 🌹

Great suggestion Austen - we have a digital copy of the edition of Weird Tales that story was featured in. It's certainly a contender for the channel. Ian
I’ve done that to dudes before.
Gripping tale just wish it had ended with the artist giving an account to a third person as to their feelings as they touched the thing in the box before both were cast in stone,& lost, imagination & curiosity collide on the outcome
1. Women reading Women. This is so refreshing. So disappointed by male readers for Nesbit.
Nope! I'm out
