Madeleine McGraw & Mason Thames are interviewed for The Black Phone, directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, James Ransone and Ethan Hawke. It is adapted from the novella by Joe Hill. Scott Davis has questions, doesn't phone it in.
Plot: Finney Shaw, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.
The film hits cinemas on June 24th.

Yes, exactly. I remember when there were so many girls saying he was so hot and fine and Mason, being shy and admitting to having social anxiety, posted on his Instagram that he felt uncomfortable with all the "hot" and "fine" comments about him. I felt so bad for him. He's a shy and humble boy and gets uncomfortable with comments about him calling him hot, sexy or fine.
