I adore this movie and the plot behind it. The idea of the past victims helping Finney/being protagonists instead of the typical angry evil spirits harming innocent people was really nice for me. Seeing the kids do their best to make sure another kid doesn’t die is really emotional. The last phone call with Robin killed me.

Yeah. That's what really makes it "a scary movie with a heart of gold." It's an inversion of sinister supernatural "hauntings." The ghosts are haunting Finney in order to save him from their own fate.

Shaw is Max and The Grabbers last name, Finney’s last name is Blake
17:55 his “training day” is complete….Ethan Hawke was in TRAINING day……nice pun!
I heard Finn's father is blessed with invulnerability to all threats physical or magical
Zorn’s commitment to do ANYthing to be on the show is personally inspiring.
Last time I had such a huge feel of relief ("Finn's arm is MINT") during a horror movie villain's kill was at the final scene of Death proof. Extremely satisfying
This isn't so much of a horror as it is a suspense thriller. It's set in the 1970's, which is when I was in elementary school, and all of the clothes, cars, music, and stores are pretty accurate. There were a few spots that were a little unbelievable, but overall, it was excellent. I loved all of the characters, but the little sister was the funniest. You need to watch this.
It's usually hard for me to have my heartstrings pulled while watching movies (I can only think of like two movies that have genuinely made me cry), but watching Gwen be abused by her dad was absolutely HEARTWRENCHING to watch. Phenomenal acting all around. I was so excited to see Dead Meat cover this! Thank you guys for working so hard to appreciate this movie the way it was meant to be. :)

I'd like to know where was all that damn MOXIE when he was sitting on the stairs crying and being a punk in Saving Private Ryan hmmm?
Dead Meat is so productive, producing Kill Counts, the podcast, and James in so many weird costumes. THAT is dedication! I love it!
The wrestling references are always flawless lol
The numbers bits are easily my favorite part of your show. It feels like your own humor shining through the well structured script. Also, Zoran is always a treat.
this movie tbh does not get talked about enough I'm so glad James was able to do a kill count for it and appreciate how great of a piece of art it is
Thank you to both the Director Derickson and his co-writer Cargill for being so kind, helpful and understanding in helping James getting this resolved and uploaded Today. Thank you
First horror movie that actually made me cry. The scene at the end when the dad says that he’s sorry to his kids, it hit hard
Definitely my top horror for this year. Thanks for all y’all’s hard work on these!
I’m shocked to hear that the lead kid in this movie was his acting debut. He was good. Loved the movie. I love Ethan hawk in everything he’s done. Hopefully they’ll make a sequel but if this is the only one I’m ok with it.

I know it takes alot to make such quality content. So thank you to everyone on the Dead Meat team. This is the only channel I have notifications on and my whole family enjoys the kill count. James might never see this but just in case the Ta Taylor and the Taylor Family from Palm Beach Florida would love a shout out. Love you guys. Byeeee.
20:09 now this is some lifeless Lucy creepypasta crap going on over here.
james, i appreciate you saying “before sunrise” while focusing the shot on ethan hawke at 10:30 even if it wasn’t intentional
I’m so glad to see that you were able to get this situation handled, shout out to the writer and director for doing their best to help!! We love your work James, keep up the great work

The weirdest part is that the sound is actually in the movie
I’ve been subscribed for 2 years, and this channel never fails to entertain me with its cast, and partnerships.
Ethan seems like such a gentle soul 🥺
I'm so happy you got to upload this even with the copyright claim, I just wanna say I appreciate everyone on the dead meat team for all their hard work with all the videos and dealing with the copyright issues.
8:32 I knew it was coming, and I still popped so hard 😂 MAN I LOVE DEAD MEAT 😂😂😂😂😂
Hey James I started watching your videos YEARS ago! And I'm still interested by them!! Keep it up man
The dog after he gets the meat: good human
To James and his team, thank you for trying your heart out to bring us these amazing videos, even if things like copyright claims get in the way, you guys still bring us amazing videos! Keep up the amazing work!
I’m sorry you all had so much trouble with copyright issues, we all appreciate all the hard work you all do to get these kill counts out.

I think you need a respectful thanking for the work you and your team put into this October! It was nice to have a kill count to come home to twice a week!
this is my favorite channel to watch at night. I love your setup so much. Keep up the great videos
I loved this movie. When Finney walked out of the house at the end and reunited with his sister, I teared up, which I do rarely.
I love this movie so much, but it felt to short. I wish it was a limited series that fleshed out all the characters instead.

Honestly yeah I wished the kids were fleshed out more. Robin is my personal favorite and I would've wanted to see how they started being friends. Also the others are interesting. I wonder what they were like before they died from "The Grabber".
