Excellent presentation. However, the narrator errs in stating that "Arab Muslims forces conquered Egypt, gradually extending their influence into Nubia" in the 14th century. (This actually happened in the 7th century. approx. 641 CE). The Islamization of Africa is complex & not merely the story of foreign, pale Arabs against Dark, Indigenous, Africans. Moreover, key Black Muslims figures played major roles historically in the Islamic, military conquest of Egypt & Africa.

Islam didn't conquer Africa at all , Islam took advantage of the Roman empire decline in the 7th century AD in Egypt , half of Egypt was Coptic Christians by the time Islam came in , the Egyptians Christians fled to Ethiopia and Tanzania, Islam and Christianity spread through most of Africa
