The thing that will NEVER change about The Black Keys is that SOUL they have in everything song they do.

Nah, it's acting talent. Most big bands figure it out eventually... how to sell the song or "soul" as you call it.

I don't know what to say. This Band helped me through these strange times. Love from Germany
Delta kream is one of the most important album of the year. Congratulations to the Black Keys for the respect that they give to all those important bluesman of the past!!
What's cool about these guys is that they look like that music is a vital part of their everyday life. They look like they play music every day just for fun on their front porch. Like they can just grab their instruments and play anything from Elvis to Beatles or some rural blues. It's amazing. It looks like there is no struggling, the music is jut coming from their instruments. I love them for this.
This album is such a blessing also since it concentrates on the instrumental quality of the blues. It's a rare feat that Mr. Auerbach and Mr. Carney accomplish so well with their extended team.
Pure Americana . That slide riff was where the heart is. Love from Canada 💕

Not Americana , but rather the Mississippi Hill country blues. Doesn’t really matter what you call it my friend. I call it the shit!

It's about a lazy guy who fell asleep on the bus and got off 2 stops past his. It was like a 20 minute walk back home... Look it up.

Great cover, soul drips from from every note and I'm sure RL' would love it.
Man on man. Just put your headphones on and get immersed in this awesome song
I am intrigued by this band, trying to understand who what and where or what the hell have they been drinking. This band is so important and underrated that they have to be as relevant as the Rolling Stone . Guys please, wear that on your shoulders and keep on rocking on.
Now this is Soul Blues, you can feel the spirit of RL Burnside hanging about. Nice to see 2 members if RL's band jamming as well. ❤🎉
this slaps so hard

Man that's a good band. What sound. If I could do over again I'd be on guitar everyday. All day. Or piano, drums whatever or all. My nephew wanted to play music. That's all he wanted to do. His folks sat him down and told him to start thinking straight and go to college...architecture. Or they put him out So they did. But he couldn't make it. He tried to do both. Now they weren't going to help him financially in anyway. That poor kid what he went through. Years later he's an Architect. But, his wife said she'd work he stay with the band and watch their 2 boys. His parents would not shut up...they haven't seen their son or grandchildren in 10 years. All the kid wanted was to do what meant the most to him...music...and respect from his parents. I hope he's getting on ok...but look at dan and pat and these other guys here...thats a life. All life has bumps but might as well get them doing what you love. Great sound though. Uh huh..oh yeah.

I hate that generation and their "do it my way" bullshit, I have a similar story, haven't even sat down in front of a kit in 20 years.... F'em and F'u if you try to steal the music from the next generation. Look at the modern sh*t they call music now. Sad result of their mentality. Fkin Boomers!
Amazing!!!
A proposta do "Delta Kream" é incrível, uma bela homenagem a essas lendas do Blues de Mississippi 💙🎸

Is not just only the ''Blues of Mississippi'' is a real tribute to North of Mississippi, a place who got a specific sonority and way primitive kinda of Blues, names of R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough along of others like RL Boyce and Jimmy Duck Holmes (the last of the originals) (the original idea of black keys is a band of hill country blues style) So after this the HYPE of the style came over recently, now everybody wants to play like this and lotta unknow material is come to the mainstream.
