This was the shoe that made me fall in love with Jordans as a kid. Still my favorite silhouette to this day!

The 13s are insanely comfortable even by these days standards, even the midsole has suede on it. They make that puffy scrunching sound when your walking in them as well that is oddly satisfying. I wish they would do some all black leather and red suede 13s at some point.

The "He Got Game" Jordan 13's and the 96' Ken Griffey Jr "Freshwater" Air Max's are the 2 best looking shoes of all time.

13’s are in my top 3 of retros just a unique looking shoe. I also love that they arent as hyped so theyre somewhat reasonable in price

They’re super unique. I think my favorite thing about them is the story behind them and of course that awesome cat eye bubble

Personally I love jordan 12 more than 13. But I can't denied the black cat inspiration for 13 was really outstanding

Love seeing old Jordan videos of him playing in these iconic shoes. Makes his legacy that much bigger

He won his 10th scoring title wearing the 13's(which is the record that most likely won't be broken anytime soon).

I definitely agree with you that the Flint 13s are one of the best looking color ways. The Navy on them looks so good. Great video guys!

In my opinion, the 13s are the best Jordan sneakers ever. So sleek and cool. The design is sophisticated yet so simple. The black and red is my favourite.

1997 and the jordan 13 still look so clean and futuristic till this day

As a die hard Bulls fan and og at 52 I was fortunate enough to cop the all the original og colorways back in the day. Looking forward to the playoff 13's coming out this year. Very comfortable to wear and play hoops in.

I remember my buddy had them while at summer school in June 98'... I couldn't stop looking at his feet NO LIE!!!

There is actually a version of the original version with the strap available. I bought them for my son. Have a pair of the brave blue 13s, myself. Bought them in 98 and again when they retroed a few years ago

I love the 13, and they do have a signature moment: his All-Star game where he battled Kobe in MSG and won All-Star MVP. A fun and relaxing game to rewatch. That was actually the first game for the playoff 13s, same as the 12. They debuted in the all star game.

I just bought the purple & black court 13's this last Christmas . Interesting vid.

I got my Flint Red as my first AJ13 by random chance through a raffle. While it was widely available in retails, I enjoy it and noticed that it was significantly lighter than the rest of the lineup. I like how organic the aesthetics look in comparison to the classier AJ11 and Aj12. A different evolution, and cool!

Love it. The XIII was my first jordan. I think you should have mentioned Mike Bibby Low PE's, but that's a personal bias because you covered a lot of major releases. It's sad that there is no iconic moment for the 13, and how the last shot could have been in the 13's. It's iconic that it is the beginning of the Jumpman brand and how it debuted on Halloween!

I remember buying the 13's. Cost me many hours flipping burgers as a kid in high school. Totally worth it. The quality was absolutely bulletproof.

My favorite retro’s 13’s are def in my top 7 retro’s

The 13s are so clean especially the Breds.

The Jordan 13 were actually seen for the time ever in Paris during a tournament were the Bulls were invited prior to the regular season. Everyone was blown away by the shoes of course. Excellent content though.

I have the tinker 13 breds which most people haven’t seen. They look crazy but I like em.

My all time favs… I think it was the last of the greats. 1’s uncomfortable, but a iconic look, skip 2’s, 3 through 13s all around amazing shoes.

I don't care about any other other Air Jordan Retro, 13s will always be a part of my childhood. My dad gave me a pair of Chicago/Cherry 13s. But I recently bought the Playoff 13s, and I'm going to pass that down to my children. I love these shoes. There are no other that can surpass these imo.

I think its worth to mention the Jumpman Pro Strong which basically had the same tech as the 13s but cheaper. I know team jordans dont get much respect but you cant deny that this was very iconic and the only option for kids who couldnt afford the top of the line sneakers at the time.
