This track is perfect. 10/10, no questions asked. The fact that THIS was single 6 just gives me even higher hopes for the album than before. They fucking outdid themselves

song so good he didn't even complain about the fade out also the tracklist is out and this is the closer (well there's Le Noir which is the actual closer but I expect it to be a sort of reprise of this song). 6 unreleased songs, 2 of them interludes likely.

I love this! I've been listening to Imminence all day today. This is beautiful.

If I had a nickel for every time that an anticipated upcoming album was called "The Black" I'd have 2 nickels. But still strange that it happened twice. Anyway this song is literally perfect, for me it hits as hard as the title track from Heavener, Depths 3 by Silent Planet, and Take Me Back To Eden / Euclid by Sleep Token. Phenomenal song right here.

Apart from Continuum (The problem I have with it is the weird muffle/effect they use on the soft vocals there, else I like it) I loved every single they put out which to me it's really rare, so I just cannot wait for the full album.

I wholeheartedly disagree that this is a song you don’t listen to everyday. This song has hit so many range of emotions since it’s debut, you simply don’t want it to end. From the symphony of the instrumental, to the strong vocals, to the connective lyrics all packaged in one 6 MIN AND 10 SECOND song; The Black is truly a masterpiece.

You can read the tracklist on their website, on the vinyl pre order. This is not the closure, and there are two French titled tracks in the album 😮

They dip and peak, they’ve got some amazing stuff and then some not so much, the new singles for the new record are all pretty stellar

The forsaking by fleshgod apocalypse…you’ll feel the same about it.

For me it was the violin intertwining with the kick drum at the end. That was biblical

You raise walls and then more walls around you in an attempt to feel safe from the outside cruel and unforgiving world. And then a song...a masterpiece like this comes. And you listen through it and feel how the walls start cracking. Then the breakdown comes and shatters the first wall away and then there's the violin solo at the end that breaks your last defenses one by one by one until at the end as the song fades away there you are left... naked... vulnerable ... your core exposed. Sorry if it sounds overdramatic but this god damned song struck hard.

Hating on the overdramatic is overrated. Be your dramatic self, don't let anyone tell you that it's wrong to be vulnerable. Music is meant to be felt. And as someone who has built up some walls myself, I understand your metaphor completely.

It's kind of jealous that you appreciated this song so much but didn't appreciate Take Me Back to Eden by Sleep Token. These songs evoke the same emotions

Feel like I’m getting deja vu with these singles being super promising for the album. Praying this isn’t as disappointing as HIH was when we had it in full. These 6 singles are probably 6 of Imminence’s best, going independent has been huge for them

If you are used to listen Heaven Shall Burn (the band), this is not that impressive. I'm not hating this band but I use to listen this kind of this like +15 years ago. The epicness of that kind of sound started there.
