Mate thanks so much for this video, I never even knew there had been another company release them all. I have looked into getting some of the viavision sets and although they are quite expensive (£70 - £100+) I am definitely going to get some of them, maybe 1 per month. Hopefully they don’t go out of print before I get them all, like the shock ones did for you. Where do you buy yours from? Cheers, Lewis

Hi! Many thanks for watching the video! I get my viavision sets from ebay and there's quite a few sellers out there offering them. Some of the earlier sets are coming down in price now so you might pick up a bargain! I've been buying them as they've been releasing them as I missed out first time round. Got series 22 the other week and as of posting this message series 23 is out tomorrow. Only three more to go after that!

Are there any noticeable picture and sound quality difference's between the UK and Australian releases? Thank you.

Hi. Thanks for watching the video! In answer to your question..no..the quality to me looks the same. If there is one major difference though it would be that the Australian releases have the advert break 'stings' edited out where as the UK Network releases these are intact. In other words..that short cut showing 'End of Part 1' and 'Part 2' either side of a commercial break. Annoying but I'll take that over not having the episodes at all on dvd. You soon get used to it though and they may even return in later sets as I'm only on series 11 as I write this. A long way still to go! Hope this was of some help to you.

@@waynebartman There's also a few music edits due to copyright on both the Network, Shock and VVE releases. On 3 episodes between 1988 and 89, songs by The Police are used which are overdubbed with a cover version (Chasing the Dragon, Snout and 1 more, the name of which escapes me). The only way to own these intact is to seek out the original Australian wallet releases on the Magna Pacific label. I managed to pick these up when they were released so if you need an upload give me a shout. There's also a scene cut at the end of the episode 'Start to Finish' on the DVDs, which is the final scene and presumably cut due to background music. There might be some more but these are the ones I know about. I think they are pretty rare to be honest but seems to be the norm these days with DVD releases.

Hi! I get my dvd sets from either ebay or amazon uk. Keep an eye out for special offers as some earlier series are now available on ebay at reduced prices.
