This is an introduction to Lago Strobel, home to Jurassic Lake Lodge and some of the biggest rainbow trout found anywhere on earth.
In this video, we're giving you a little teaser of what is to come.
I spent an entire week at Jurassic Lake Lodge, fishing 6-8 hours every single day. This place is famous not just for its enormous rainbows, but for its sheer number and quality of fish. Nowhere else on earth is there a place with so many beautiful trout.
There will be a new Fly Fishing Lago Strobel series here on the channel and it's going to be one of our best series' yet so stay tuned.

Been here, spent a week fishing, spectacular fishing and place, never forget the experience!
I hope someday , this is a major destination for me. I say this because those Rainbows that live in that lake come from my beautiful California Rivers . I would love to see them at there massive size, fat and healthy right in front of my eyes and hands . Its like a tale of story.
holy shit, this has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. after looking at the prices i know well that i will never see it, so im utterly grateful for your beautiful video. i will dream about this place tonight.

Literally just found out about this place ten minutes ago and it's a the top of my fishing bucket list. And it's also extremely close to the top of my climbing bucket list, the Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy area.

Awesome! The best fly fishing I ever had was with my brother in the Litte Minipipi River in Labrador for giant brook trout. But the black flies and mosquitoes eat you alive.

Save your money. Go to the Blackfoot Indian Reservation in northern Montana and fish the spring fed lakes there in late-Spring / early-summer.

Ah man! When I was in Montana in 2021 I wanted to go up there so bad but stuck to small streams around Ureka and at the Libby dam. Gotta go back!
