I watched her receiving that iPhone over and over again. Her reaction was so sweet and wholesome and appreciative. Jensen's confusion at her crying was my favorite part. Him saying "she got so excited and then she got sad". Such a cute thing he said. She very mature and I think she can handle it with some parental controls and monitoring. My daughter was 14 when she got her first smart phone, but she wasn't as responsible as Brielle seems to be. I must say that I think giving my daughter a smartphone made her become much more responsible. She never lost it, cracked it or did anything she shouldn't on it. Have fun Brielle.

I know a lot of people have reservations about children having phones, and there are some negative attributes that some people experience with owning a phone, but I think that children owning phones has had a great impact in the prevention of many serious crimes that would’ve otherwise occurred. Owning a phone (for any age) is an exercise of personal responsibility and discipline that you seem to teach well. You are wonderful and bless you all.

Also it sure if you guys have iPhones but you can family link your phones with hers and you will get all the notifications she gets so you can see and hairs a little better!!! That’s what we did at first and now we have the bark app it alerts you to. Anything bad as well!

Brielle is a young lady whom will always do her best . It is a different world now with access to media and some people will prey on the most vulnerable . You guys probably have experienced trolls doing your vlog . It is better safe than have something happen to your shining star . Congratulations Brielle on your first cell phone .My first cell phone was when I was fourth and was the size of my palm and had an antenna witch you had to pull out when you wanted to make calls . Brielle I also keep dislocating my left knee cap and I in gymnastics and i recently broke my right arm in gymnastics and I have a full arm cast for the next 6 to 9 weeks and after that 2 weeks in a brace how many times have brielle dislocated her knee or broken a bone

With Verizon you can put parental controls on her phone. We had to with my granddaughter who is only 11. But kids are safer with a phone on them at all times nowadays!! I know some will disagree but u can locate the phone or child with a push of a button. But u can shut the phone off at bedtime and wake it up at a certain time or not allow tik tok or whatever apps not approved by parents. I love Verizon for those options.

If you’re worried about safety app wise, I think there’s is something you can install that you can control on your end & probably also there is something so every text that is coming & going you can receive. You can tell her for x months years whatever time you want it to be, you tell her that this how it’s going to be until I can see you handle your phone safely. There is a KZread family, and they have two KZread channels, and one of them is called the yowie, and I might be spelling that wrong, I think you know who they are anyways, the father/husband did something to it’s 2 older daughter’s phones, were at x time at night they could not use their phones. This is my advice/opinion. Take it or leave it. Love your family please and thank you.

When I got my first phone my parents put a parental control app on it that allowed only the apps they chose and I had that on my phone until I was 17 in a half it was called kids place or something like that
