    Why not have more than 2 ranks? With hand size 7, 3 ranks would make it less likely for you to hit a dud hand. With proper management, you should be able to end up with just queens and kings for the final hand. With exactly 77 cards(4 per hand plus one) and two ranks, you have a ~1% chance of the opening had being a dud. With 3 rank, the odds of a opening dud drops to ~0.05%.

    Assuming only two ranks, the odds of "drawing a dud" actually increase on subsequent hands, too. If you draw 5 Kings and 2 Queens, you're left with 3 Kings in hand, and the odds of drawing 3 more is meaningfully higher than 1%. However, you straight up lose if your final doesn't contain at least 2 Queens /and/ 2 Kings. And then later on, we need specific Queens and specific Kings. With 19 total hands, you can guarantee your final hand is a winning hand, but it may cost you some hands to set it up as safely as possible. In which case having only 2 ranks saves you a hand or two toward the end of the round. Also, the Queens and Kings give us a ton of money (Lucky and Gold Seal cards retriggered by Sock).

    Hi professor! I was the one in chat who asked a question about favorite games and then got an ad, and you waited for the ad to end to answer my question. Super fun time, chat interaction is a great experience. Too bad I had to leave after a bit but glad to see the record secured.

    Exactly. Think of it like this: Die 1 hits 1, the other die has 3 results which make it even and 3 which make it odd. Same for 2 on the first die, 3 and so on.

    2d6 is equally likely to be even or odd. Regardless of what the first d6 rolls, there are three results on the second d6 that create an even sum, and three results that create an odd sum, no?

  • @life-destiny1196

    @life-destiny1196

    Ай бұрын

    This also means that no matter how many d6 you roll, it's still equally likely. Since the 2d6 is equally likely to be either outcome, adding another d6 will have three even results and three odd results for any given 2d6 roll.

    For the record, there are 18 odd results of rolling 2 dice and 18 even results of rolling 2 dice, so it's precisely 50:50. It is a fair roll.

    The thing about the Autism/Adhd comes down to general frequencies. Some people are tuned up and some people are tuned down. But basically anybody who would have been ADD before about 2005 is realistically ASD.

    For such kind of playthrough, there's no point editing it, as such edits usually focus on meaningful events and not routines. The routine is two pair and shop roll. If we isolate meaning events, such as nice shop rerolls or clutchy situations (which is not common for Dr Spec as he's really prepared and do mindful plays) the video would have 2 min.
